Bonus ball the truth

There only agreement for compensation is on a per-match basis. We can all figure in our heads what that would translate to over a 26 week span, but we are only owed for matches worked - not for seasons or parts of seasons worked. There are no contracts (verbal or non-verbal) involving 26 weeks, only for worked matches.

Would be interesting to see what the letter stated that was sent to the state department regarding Lee's visa..... I can see where this information may be useful in determining the truth.... I know what the players have said was stated in the early stages even if some want to forget the statements were made..

If I recall correctly Steve was added after the season was underway... Originally wasn't Jim Wych involved with this? Wonder if he was ever paid? Seems there is a pattern here even if some would like to deny it's existence.....

I have been with them since the start of the season back in late May.

Steve:

THANK YOU. finally - disclosure. and i apologize FORMALLY & PERSONALLY to you. and i hope that all AZBers hear me tonight.

please understand that we (most), were behind BB 100% @ the start. and "we" take care of our own....nothing PERSONAL w/ you!

to hear from you, as "The Voice of BB", that:
- there were NEVER any Contracts/Agreements; are not; verbal or non-verbal
- pmt was per MATCH
- paid in full
- future pmt is TBD @ per match

speaks VOLUMES.

again, i apologize for hounding you & thank you for your (FINALLY!) clarification.

Well I hope that helped. And, in all sincerity, I hope Lee ends up ok. He has been a friend and I wish him the best. But I couldn't go on any further reading all that was out there.
As for all of you, your support would be embraced by all of us involved. This venture is truly about someone's dream to create something for the pro players and fans that hasn't really existed before. Of course there will be bumps along the way. This is starting a whole LEAGUE - not just a business.
I've been an outsider to the industry, just have a sports broadcasting background and found out this was a new venture that seemed exciting to try and help get off the ground. I would have stopped a few months ago if I thought the people in charge had bad intentions or this thing didn't have a chance.
Aside from confidential information, I will do my best to reach out the the AZ community and keep you informed as we truly appreciate your support!

We are also to believe Lee's visa application was Approved based on a job description that could last only one week! Highly doubtful! Even 6 weeks would not be long enough in my opinion! There is something wrong cause nothing Steve is saying Matches the logical actions of those involved!

Stupid is probably a classless way of putting it. It was risky and ambitious, but not stupid. And as for Lee's visa - that is something I can't speak to. But he moved there also.

First of all, it's not me that's paying. I get paid, and check stubs are COMPLETELY private. Lee asked for the sets and he got them - enough to sell at retail what he was owed.

Not quite. You replied fast....I was going to delete my previous post because Lee told me some promising info.

This story might have a happy ending....and it's not ending with Lee selling these ball sets to get his money. Fingers crossed that the powers that be follow through and Lee gets paid for the work he performed.

If you edit your post and delete my quote. .. the negativeness might end and things might move forward.

Honey - sometimes they are inside jokes b/w posters, that no one else "gets". like when i call Lee Brett an English Arse/Ass. or BFDLAD (who is English), an AUSSIE....

....i don't know you well enough (yet), to know if you're an English GENTLEMAN.

PS - NO means New Orleans

Honey??? I like that.
There is only one thing better than coming from the UK and being English and that is coming from the UK and being SCOTTISH. Which I am.
Now everybody knows that all Scots are gentlemen. So already you know me better.

I doubt many Scots feel like that!

The suspense of this soap opera continues. It's hard to read between the lines cause pool is so F'g "mine is mine" and "I know but can't say, gotta protect my own piece"...

But IMO, BB is going to save the world, including the Phillipines.

Meanwhile the pros have 3 acclaimed tourneys next year. Wonderful.

KK9 <--- headed to Mosconi for the last acclaimed match ever

PS: Seriously my friends: Who's going to attempt to fill perhaps the biggest void in history in pool. Think @ it. It's on drawing boards now, jostling is on.

The best thing that I know of that comes from Scotland is Scottish Kippers, which I am about to devour in about 5 seconds.

Breakfast Haggis just doesn't do it for me.
