Of course I remember the Jitterbug. I'm as old as you man! That's was THE dance when I was in high school, at Colonel White High in Dayton, Ohio. I was always too embarrassed to do it, and I wasn't very good either, but I could do The Twist!

Thanks for sharing that video. Just like pool swing dancing was at its height in popularity during the 30's and 40's. In the late 90's GAP featured a commercial with swing dancing, sparking a revival.

Swing dance greats such as Frankie Manning, a founding father of Lindy Hop, was living in obscurity as a mailman until a group of swedish dance enthusiasts tracked him down looking to learn the lost art of aerial swing dancing.
