I think #5 was only in the event that the initial match was played on the 14th. If so, OMGWTF offered to play again in NY under similar conditions that Borana would have to endure.

No one is gonna undestand that are they? I tried.

As far as I can tell, they are playing in the evening on the 15th, for $ 2,000, and it will be 9-ball on a Diamond 9 fot table at the nearby poolhall.

Still not decided race/sets, and exact time on the 15th.

Am I correct?

Just kidding kids. I do like the way you two got together and worked out a time to play, just when it was beginning to look like the match might be falling through. Now get down in the dirt and play some pool. We ALL just want to see some good shooting, and we know you won't disappoint us.

I would suggest you play a Two Out Of Three set match, something like Races To Seven. That's a good match and more interesting than one long set. Either way, I hope it turns out half as good as this thread has been.

Trust me the friendliness here is much akin to the present wife being introduced to the ex wife at a party, "so pleased to meet you, lovely dress". What's going on in their minds is likely far different from what's being typed here. Every match is a grudge match for OMGWTF.

This should be good and I can't wait to spend Bartrum's money. I wonder if Pool Sharks has tee shirts I can buy.

Please do, I'll be bucks up and looking for mementos. When TAR had the OMGWTF/CubC match stored on their site I used to stop in just for the stroll done memory lane. It was a great vid, you really couldn't see either of them just the table and their hands and cues. OMGWTF was just hands and heels.

Gosh, I go to bed and miss like 10 pages of posts...I guess I am going to miss a whole lot with the tournaments going on this weekend.

Does Borana play in heels? If she does, I want a Heart and Heels tee shirt.

If she doesn't, I don't think its fair as those things look like a handicap to me.

I think the person who streams it should try to get volunteers to operate the camera so we can see more than just arms and balls.

We need someone who can zoom in and out and all around. Danny Dilberto often talks about how great it is to see the torture. It would be great to see their faces occasionally.

Don't expect Lenny or whoever to do it the whole time but some volunteers in a rotation is just an idea.
 
I think that we should spice up the match, and allow each of them a coach. Borana's coach = John S. and Medlina's coach = Danny H.

The ladies could behave....but we could let their coaches run wild! HA!

Danny and you are correct. Zooming in on the person seated can add lots to the drama/reality of things as well. Like Earl's expression when Efren shot that Z-kick cut and got position -- priceless. Gotta love every aspect of this sport!
 
Melinda...I think you're kidding, due to the emoticon, but Roy is right. Check post #393...Borana confirms 5/15, in the evening, on the 9' table at Pool Sharks.

Scott Lee ~ not kidding, and intends to sweat this match personally, sitting next to Sunny! :D
