The last time I posted a few photos of Borana it got over a thousand hits. I would like to think that it was because she was carrying one of my cases, but that probably wasn't the reason.

I think this is some of that trick photography
I went through the images twice, tried looking at them from all different angles, still haven't found a cue case. I'm not easily discouraged though, I'll try again later!

I have to post my opinion on this. I saw this thread this morning and I've been thinking about what to say and how to say it ALL DAY. It is a touchy subject because I consider all the women you have on your site as friends and I know all of them have shown marked improvement in the past year. However, this is now the second thread about Borana and she's a D-player.
I want to stress that I think it would be wonderful if she does reach pro-level. She's beautiful and very charming and I think the sport would definitely benefit but giving her any attention now is extremely premature (and, some may argue, immature).
I don't want to try and define what this forum should be about but I think most will agree that provocative photographs of a D player does not make it "pool-related".
Any attention is good for anyone. If you got attention you would probably be happy about it. Any person interested in the game of pool is a plus for the game. The fact that she is pretty is an extra plus.
From your comments, it seems that you wouldn't mind looking at provocative photos of an A player.
Keep checking out the site, eventually they will show up.

I'm sure there are products with this or that model posing next to something that the models knows absolutely NOTHING about...shame on them too, huh? Lighten up a bit. He makes a nice case, and can't (or isn't willing to) afford to have a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model stand next to it for photos....sheesh

These images stop well shy of what can be considered provocative by today's standards. She is an attractive young lady that models well. If that gets her and/or pool some publicity more power to her.
Anyone that wants to seriously pursue pool as a career needs to pay attention to publicity and public image from day one. Male or female they are going to need sponsors and endorsement fees. If the young lady is serious about making a career with a cue stick these images are very much a part of the path.
The Black Widow is unquestionably the most marketable pool player in the US and has been for years. She is a long ways from the best pool player and isn't even generally considered the best lady player. However she has paid attention to PR and marketed herself properly for many years and it pays her dividends, to her benefit and pool's. Nothing wrong with that either.

Look, it's not Borana being used as a model that I find troublesome nor is it Jim's case. He does fine work and she's an attractive woman. What is bothersome is the fact that her name appears on this forum and his site as representative of women's pool. I'm sorry but she's not quite there yet.

Since that was a popular thread and Jim had more Borana pics to show from this new website, he posted the link in this second thread. The pics are pretty tame, she's very attractive and so is the case. I enjoyed looking at them. I just don't see the harm.
