I'm a big fan of this legend's work. While he's only making huge stuff nowadays, I'm happy to be able to acquire this one. From what I understand, it was made late 07.

Ivory everything, kangaroo wrap, thicker hoppe ring (yeah, I know...), great shafts.

I'm with you on the Hoppe Ring Etiquette thread, which I have been eating popcorn watching!

That being said, Bill is a master, so I'll look the other way! I love almost every cue of his that I've seen. I always must add that they are not just art. They play so so well.

I see one shaft is chalked. That's good to see. Enjoy! & thanks for showing the pics.

A perfect combination!

I love Titleist conversions over pretty much everything else, and all I can say is-:grin-loving:

Perfect cue Roscoe.

I really like the length of the points on this cue. I'm not a big fan of the Titlist conversions where the cuemaker bumps the points up so high that you can see the bottom of the full splice. These points look great to me.

Thanks for sharing,
Ian

Schick

Schick is my favorite cuemaker.

Mine is so good, I can only look at it for a few minutes at a time.

Hoppe Masterpiece

Beautiful Cue,
Classic all the way"
Bill can make a cue look so elegant,
I hope You play pool with that cue,
Bill does an excellent job

Nice cue. The wrap looks very smooth and soft, bet it has a great feel to it while shooting.

Pure Player

Mr. Schick makes one hell of a cue and this one looks like it is a pure player. I know that he has been making highend fancy cues, but I still love it when a cue like this comes out of the shop. I was actually using my Schick last week and really enjoyed the hit. I will probably send it Bill's way shortly to have the weight reduced a little (think the cue is 21 oz+) and maybe do some added work.

Congrats on a great pick up ... hope the cue gets some table time.

Thanks for all of the compliments... it isn't every day you see a cue from Bill come up that isn't under $10k, so I'm happy to get it.

Ken, check your pm's.

Thanks for the comments, guys.... This cue is exactly what an "old school" definition is...

Great looking cue Ross. How did you manage to get this? Please tell us you didnt call Bill up and tell him of all your handicaps..............lol

Hello Ross,

Very attractive cue.....after reading your posts on the "Hoppe Ring" etiquette I am a bit confused with the traditional Hoppe Ring and butt cap dimensions and a BUMPER......?? So is it your definition that you defined in your Hoppe Ring etiquette thread post's or is it the cue's you happen to own at the moment?.

Ross....I'm not the type of person that would intentionally point out or question one's cue etiquette.. and you know I hold you in the highest respect and appreciate you cue etiquette....but what's going on?:D

Your friend and mine,
Scott
