I am sure the moderators here love that you use every opportunity to tell the pros to stay away from their site
I do believe Team AzBilliards (Mike, Jerry, Mr. Wilson, Jay, Chucklez, et al.) appreciate the pro players contributing to this forum, but in the long run, witnessing how pro players are treated on AzBilliards Discussion Forum over the long haul, I believe it is in their best interests to *not* post here.
Let's take Charlie Williams as an example. The recent 14.1 tournament was a great success, by all accounts. If Charlie was to post on this forum with any regularity, he would be ripped to shreds on allegations from the past and other happenings in his professional career. Because of that, his experience on AzBilliards may not be a good one, and I'll betcha that Charlie doesn't give a damn, either, which is okay.
You and others, myself included, may enjoy reading posts written by some pro players, but today in the year 2013, the pro player's writings are often met with ridicule, scrutiny, and derision.
My advice to any pro player who would like to contribute to this forum would be to post anonymously under a pseudonym. This may allow them to enjoy their AzBilliards experience.
I don't know if you were a member here when AzBilliards had live interviews with pro players and we members were allowed to ask questions. The interviews were protected by the interviewer, so as not to allow potshots from Negative Nellies or multiple-identitied trolls to ruin it, as they do on this forum on a regular basis.
In this regard, if a "regulated" Ask the Pro section were to be created with a restriction that no member's post will be published until it is reviewed by a moderator and/or the pro, this might be a good way for the pros to communicate, contribute, and enjoy the AzBilliards community.
