The negative comments and behavior of society is what garners the most attention it seems and has been a bad thing for pool. Many good posters have left this forum due to the non stop badgering they have been subjected to. Cyber bullies love this format they get to stir the pot and make negative comments, I would bet most would never make face to face. The forum like pool should be an enjoyable experience but in recent years has become less and less appealing. It would be nice to see things turn around and I hope this show is part of that. Most on AZB watch the first night of a new pool show. If it's bad, they say it's bad. I haven't seen a good one yet and will say the same with this one if it stinks. That said, I hope one of these new pool shows makes it big. Johnnyt

The company behind this show knows what they are doing. Trailers/facebook pages etc. will be appearing shortly on the net I am sure. Pilgrim is behind Fast n' Loud, Street Outlaws and other shows that have taken off. For Mikey Frost and the pool community in general I hope this takes off and builds a big following too :smile:

Guess I won't be watching, went to truTV site, signed in to my cable account and got a nice large black box that shows a play button when clicked. If you click the button, you get a black box again hehe.

Love it when you have to figure out what's wrong so you can give a place business first.
 
For those who don't have access to TruTV, maybe have a talk with your local poolhall or bar manager and see if they will show it. My local poolhall was showing Walking Dead on Sundays, and it gathered a nice little crowd, that ordered drinks and sometimes food.

Being optimistic, this could be the tide that lifts all boats. Some people here have been wishing for another pool movie, like the Hustler or The Color of Money to revive our sport. If this is successful, it could spawn imitators.

You're gonna see multiple shows drop this year....the rat race is in full effect. I see a bIG potential cumulatively. Lots of different speeds of players too. the competition will really wake people up....every show needs the other whether they realize it or not yet. I see the large picture
 
I just saw the commercial for it, hope its a doozy. Too bad I cant set the dvr so far ahead. Good luck and kick some ass Mikey Frost! I really hope this show takes off and lasts a couple of seasons at least.
 
Wouldn't you know it! Just checked the service providers for this series, and mine in FL isn't there (Brighthouse). Oh well...I guess I'll have to have one of my friends record it for me somewhere and email it to me! :frown: I hope this a great show. The last one about the Mississipi River hustler totally sucked. MikeyFrost...you'll be great! It was nice to meet you and Martin last summer. Hope to see you again when I am out at Danny K's in August! :thumbup:

They have run several different trailers for it during the Final Four and after the Championship game last night. I can't find any of them online either but if I do get a link I will share it here as well.

I have some faith in AZ, a lot of people don't. They think the forums are treacherous and condescending, I think otherwise. Let's prove me right and when the info gets out there go share it everywhere and set every DVR you can get ahold of to at least record if you can't watch live.
