Bucktooth vs. Fatboy

Woof That Bets

I know this is some what old but I just ran across it on youtube and thought I would post it for anyone who has not seen it yet or those who wish to see it again

Bucktooth is a notorious high rolling woof artist. Fatboy called his bluff.

He does Woof but he bets it up as well. He didnt want to flip coins and has said that over and over (before that day). He wants to gamble playing pool, cards, or the keno board. He broke even after playing Archer (getting a huge spot that he needs)in a marathon session.

Since Fatboy and Johhny Archer are friends, I am sure that he could back him against bucktooth for some serious cheese.

Fatboy--how about backing Archer against him (maybe at the DCC) for some big dough. That would be good to watch

Don't know but whatever it was, you can be sure Bucktooth had the best of it....He's always given me the impression that he will only play when he's got the nuts.....I think he's a better shooter than most might think....and he sure wants the opponent to believe otherwise.....Always dangling the big wad and looking for the big spot........

> I heard on an Accu-Stats tape that Archer gave Tooth the 5 and the break, but Tooth had Tony Annigoni break for him,who is not known for being a huge breaker. The idea was Tony's weak break would leave clusters, making it harder for Archer to run out. Tommy D.

a familiar spot I have seen before

Seems about right.....I actually watched a match between Keither and Bucktooth one day at a place called the Q club in San Francisco....Keith had a backer and they were playing 5 cecils a rack...same spot as you mentioned but Bucktooth did his own breaks....it started out going back and forth for a little while, but once Bucktooth got his break going, it was all over.....I left because I couldn't stand to watch the mismatch any more.....I heard he won about 6-7K that day........

he wont play Tooth,

He is a smart man !
Like another poster said Bucktooth waves a big roll and then asks for the nuts . Players want that roll and a lot of time give up to much of a spot trying to get it . Bucktooth knows just how irresistible the cash can be and holds out for a spot he cant lose with .

I spent a night playing in Garlic city billiards in Gilroy California earlier this year, and talked to the owner Action Bob Tapella about Bucktooth. He had pics of the tooth on his wall and he commented that he had known Him for years and although Bucktooth was no world beater anymore he had been when he was younger:wink:

Why Not

he wont play Tooth,

Why wont he play him? I had heard they broke even after a very long session. If they were dead even then it sounded like a pretty good match.

He has won some matches and lost some and yes he gets a huge spot as he usually plays top players that play everyday.

Find a pro to match up with him and back him against the Tooth..would be good action on Tar thats for sure
