The cue is not, I repeat not a Balabushka cue. It is an Asian import cue made during the 1980's. I can tell by the design, the bumper, and the covered wrap.

These cues have little value.

Take Care

someone is still paying 200$ for it, and its 4 days left till the auction ends.
poor guy..

Craig, could this be an older Mali? Seems to me I've seen them that looked like this. You know more than me, just guessing, here. Agree, not a 'Bushka.

I never siad the cue was junk, and I would not do that. It's kinda disrespectful to call some ones cue Junk.

Juat my opinion;)

It looks like a chinese made cue to me, from the wrap and rings.
It kinda looks like an Abe Rich knockoff import cue.

I've owned a couple, I think I paid like $15 dollars on Craigslist years back.

They actually hit like crap. But looks kinda cool and probably 90's era cue.

It would be a cue that I would leave in the trunk of my car, and if someone stole it, I wouldn't care much. The person who stole it would get real excited and try to sell it, spend like $5 dollars on ebay and karma slaps them in the face kind of a cue.

I can bet you it's a Plioted 5/16 18 and the bumper is screwed on with a sheet metal type screw. =)

That's a Balabutkiss! Was probably about a $50-100 cue new.

OK OK !!

How's this : I received a cue exactly like this one years ago in a batch of cues . I could tell it was from a far off exotic place. I found it to have better curves than my girlfriend . It Had mellow earthy tones emanating from inside when shaken . Fit and finish was astounding for a 6th grade shop student. After assessing a value I found it highly suitable for a nice romantic evening in the fire place . It had a very pretty flame to it !

BETTER ?? ...... :grin-square:
