I think the table Is Beautiful , and if you could getter for 5m , that would be a good deal . I believe its worth more . Jim
The typical selling price for a not-too-old table is less than 1/2 the original price.
As age sets in, restoring the table to original play-ability starts to require new cushions.
BTW it is a beautiful table--if you are looking for a nice piece of furniture, 5-6K seems reasonable to me. OTOH if you are looking for a long term play table, GC or Diamond.

The person who is selling it is a very trusted person to family friend. His company creates the inlay wood for this and other table manufacturers. He is only going on what they told him when they gave him the table, which was part of his arrangement with them.
If I bought the table it would be for resale if it has any value I already have a great table. I wasn't asking for an opinion on a table to buy just wondering if anyone knows the manufacturer and value. (I was actually hoping someone on here would want it and I could put a cool looking table with someone who would love it)
Hopefully I will be talking to him tomorrow and I will get the manufacturer and maybe some more information from him directly, as far as value I think that question has been answered for now based on the fact it is most likely a replica etc.

Not to be rude - and speaking as one known for being laconic, somtimes
to a fault - if you had provided this info in your original post, you would
have likely gotten more productive replies.

This is what I thought too when I saw it. The rails are wrong for a antique, the pockets are missing the inset irons that usually sit flush with the surface of the rail. I'm no expert but this looks like a replica to me.
What's on that blackish placard on the foot rail?
