Can you recommend a soft tip

I have played with 2 tips that I have really liked in the last couple years, LePro and chandivert (sp?)

The problem is that it is hard to find a good LePro tip, the last few I put on my cue are dried out and feel very hard, is there a good place I can find a good LePro tip?

Also what other tips do you recommend for a softer tip. Both tips I listed above are leather tips, it just seems like I can feel the tip grabbing onto the cueball. I'm not sure if this is because it is a leather tip or if it is because those tips were softer than the kamui and moori medium tips that I tried. I've heard that I should try a kamui super soft tip as well.

Thanks.

You may like a milk dud by pooldawg8 here on AZ.
Nicely soaked & pressed Elkmasters.

Kamui black soft are really popular. but I prefer Tiger Onyx.

Black Heart tips for the money are phenomenal! Or if you prefer non-layered tips then I've never had a problem with Blue Diamonds but I will warn, they are super super soft you will not be able to do power strokes with them :)

i like these

Watch this Video -Since 2005. I have used Kamui, and I don't stand alone. They turn down better and last longer than other tips-seem to not glaze. There's another guy who shoots 8 ball ,straight Pool one handed with kamui- think the high run was like 36 balls!!!!

I have tested every kind of kamui, Morri ,triangle ,Milk duds.Buffalo Tips, And all the French champion tips since the (70's)

I recommend the blks, and the browns. check the hardness chart in the cuemaker area(for the exact softness required.

kamui super soft.

I can't really say much, but here is my opinion.

I have used Kamui black SS, it was alright, but little pieces started to come off the sides very often, so it only lasted for 2 months. And I am sure it was authentic, not a knock-off.

Since then I have been using Elkmaster. I soaked the tip in milk for a day and put it under extreme pressure for a day. I absolutely love it.

I have installed regular elkmasters for some people and they love them.

I'd try Elk Master or Kamui Soft (NOT super soft). I tried the super soft and it felt terrible. I could barely shoot at all with it. Forget about masse shots or jump shots or anything that requires a big stroke. It was definitely super soft.

I use the Black Kamui Super Soft because of the humidity in Texas. It's the same consistency no mater where I play. It never changes shape or need trimming.

Here is a non-Kamui opinion:
I don't consider the LePro to be soft, more like a medium in my opinion. If you want a good medium tip with a lot of 'grip' try a Sniper. If you want a soft tip with a lot of grip, try an Everest or an Elk Master.

I use black super soft. Best tip I've ever used.

Ditto. I have only used Moories though on a long term basis, until recently. The black super soft rocks, especially on my 12mm shaft.

HOWEVER, on this same shaft, I used to have a medium brown Kamui. I don't know how to say this but IT SUCKED!!!!! Hard, miscued so many times I thought I was punch drunk and beaten up. Maybe these tips do better on thicker shafts?

I vote for the sniper and the everest also. Ive been using kamui SS black for a while now but when i retip its gonna be a sniper. I never noticed a huge difference between the two, at least not enough to warrant the extra cost.
