Once again the cue I sold is an Schon R2 with sharpe points and dashed ringwork . It is exactly as discribed but i have said this over and over again . I am truly amazed at how many peeps think they know more about Schon cues than Evan Clarke ! Again and again I say CALL HIM YOUR SELF !!!!

Sometimes the spliced points tear out or disappear a little, it?s a foible of the wood especially when cues have been refinished. Everybody who has ever made spliced cues has had to do this on occasion. The things to be concerned with about a cue are: how does it hit..the end!!..Evan

Larry,

If you take a closer look on the pictures, the points are originally cnc'd (you can actually see the round point covered by a marker. I have been very civil with you about this issue.

Wrong !!! I will stand by what Evan says untill he tells me diff.
Funny how 3 other forum members had this cue and didnt see what you say you are seeing .

I talked to Evan my self today I know what he is saying .
Call him your self and get the facts .
dude, I'm trying to remain as unbiased as possible, but looks at the pictures, and then look at that last email.... In looking at the picture you can see everything...

Evan is saying that "shit happens" and sometimes "every cuemaker that has made a spliced cue has had to [fill in with xxxx] do this before".

It's really cut and dry.

I will say this one more time . Send the cue to Evan if he says I did something wrong I will refund in full . If he says it is an R2 as listed you can make plans with Evan to send the cue back .

Do you really think he would admit to a thing like this if he actually did it?

The model # is a none issue here, as the buyer I am raising an issue about the sharpeed points.

They are not sharpeed points and Evan said so !!!
I will not keep this up much longer . Send the cue to Evan
we will see how this comes out.

Are you going to send the cue or not ?

again, Larry, you're really missing the point....

as another poster said earlier, I don't think you intentionally did anything wrong. Fact of the matter is you misrepresented a cue. It's not a death sentence, it's not something worthy of a life sentence.. it's something you need to make right.

Had you purchased a cue off of ebay and you receive it - not being anything close to something as described - would you be out the money for shipping? no. you'd demand a refund in full. At least he's not asking for shipping both ways.

You need to suck it up and realize that you just killed a lot of future sales and try to save face. What do you think some other respected seller on this site would've done? Is the shipping $$ worth that much to you?

Do the right thing.

I am realy getting sick of repeating my self so I will copy and paste this response the next 50 times the same subject is brought up again.

1.Send the cue back to me
2. Drop the protest with paypal.
3. I will issue a refund minus shipping as I am not at fault in any way .
4. I talked to Evan Clarke He already knew about this cue and said it was an R2 and I did not mislead the buyer at all . I posted his number call him if you wish . When it comes to Schon cues I will trust Evan's opinion over anyone's except Bob Rhunde .
5. I will not issue a refund of any kind with the paypal dispute still open . that would leave me open to getting screwed twice and that will not happen.

Thats it I am sick of repeating my self . Thats the deal take it or leave it.
As for what anyone thinks this makes me look like I realy dont care as I know I have done nothing wrong and I have the support of those that matter. So if this changes your opinion of me then im sorry for that but I have done NOTHING wrong here . If you think that ganging up on me is going to pressure me into changing me mind you can think again . The buyer is lucky that I am offering a refund at all .

((( Edited to add))) When I get the cue back I hope it is in the exact same condition I sent it in .
If there is any thing done to those points you will be paying me to ship the cue back to you !
So if you have done anything to the finish or those points I will not issue a refund at all I would at that point expect you to pay for the shipping to get it back to you .

Option #2 Send the cue to Evan Clarke at Schon cues if he says I owe you a full refund than I will do that and pay him to ship it back to me . BUT if he says it is in fact an R2 as listed without the points being altered then you arrange shipping the cue back from Evan .

Now bash away ... Larry

My 15 yr old son has more common sense and comprehension than you do.

And as for #3, you're wrong... you didn't properly inspect what you were selling... again.

You misrepresented your goods for sale.
