Larry, if you're really strong on standing by Evan Clarke's opinion..Are you willing to put up $3000 on his claim? We can ask somebody for escrow services and post $3000 each, and when that cuemaker confirms the round points were doctored to look sharp, I will take the money.

If there is any thing done to those points you will be paying me to ship the cue back to you !
So if you have done anything to the finish or those points I will not issue a refund at all I would at that point expect you to pay for the shipping to get it back to you .
Option #2 Send the cue to Evan Clarke at Schon cues if he says I owe you a full refund than I will do that and pay him to ship it back to me . BUT if he says it is in fact an R2 as listed without the points being altered then you arrange shipping the cue back from Evan .

Ok here is MY 2 cents. I have been talking to larry for a few days now. He seems to be a great stand up guy. Now I have heard several talk about the imprint on the shaft. Did it ever occur to anyone that it may be a newer shaft????. I had a cheap players cue with a shoan shaft on it once. Didn't make it a shoan now did it? As for the "altered" points, I am no expert, but from speaking with several cuemakers over the past few years I have heard from many that ink or paint is common to help make the points "just right". IMHO I think that the buyer didn't get hurt at all. If he wants to send the cue back he know where the post office is thats his choice to be unsatisfied. Just my 2 cents
