Cannot believe what happened today. (long)

First of all, I have been posting on this forum for a while now (almost 500 posts) and I have never said a bad thing about anybody on here. Today when my wife was randomly attacked on here I lost my cool. I was so damn upset I was shaking from anger. I am not sure if anyone on this board has met me but I am one of the nicest people you could ever meet and I am usually cool, calm and collected. I was and still am completely shocked that someone would sink so low to attack my wife. If you attack me that is one thing but when you go after the person who I care the most about in this whole world then I will go after you. He doesn't know me and he surely doesn't know my wife. I have had some time to think about this and I am still not sure what possesses somebody to do such a thing. The only thing I am sorry about is sinking to his level for a short period of time and losing my temper. (which doesn't happen often)
I heard he has been banned but I don't see where it is written under his name or anything???

To the 8 people (minus the person who started the thread) that voted on the poll created - I cannot believe you even voted. I challenge you to come forward and admit who you are and why you felt the need to vote on that poll. Did you think it was funny? I would have much more respect for you if you came forward than if you just stay in hiding.

I have posted on a lot of different forums and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had on any forum and I hope it never happens again.

That is all I have to say at this point.

I didnt vote...I wrote that your wife and yourself were disrespected, that Lee Tolbert was a douche bag and asked Wilson my staple "off with his head" when a stupid person shows his ass. I for one know how you feel...my newlywed wife is a stone knockout and I would go off if some moron even breeched that subject . I would have felt as you did/do to say the least. I'm sorry you hadda go though that Bval...takes one stupid-ass to ruin the fun and Skullet-head was the culprit.

He was warned and the post removed.

When I returned this morning, he was already banned.

I cannot tell if more transpired after I logged, but I can tell you that when I looked deeper into the guy....he'd been banned as Oceanweb.

Hope that tidbit helps.

I read the thread as it was going, declined to vote, and I agree that LT is a troll, and adds nothing to the value of the forum.

You have a beautiful spouse; have you considered changing your avatar? The reason I ask is that there will always be a certain (hopefully very small) percentage of forum members that are here just to cause trouble, or to turn everything into a sexually oriented discussion. I am sure that almost all of our female forum members have had to deal with this issue.

Any attractive female that posts here immediately has to fend off offers of marriage (and even less attractive propositions). Pool is not a popular sport, it is male-oriented; any female expressing interest in the sport immediately vaults into the #1 spot in the fantasy lives of our hard-up brethren. Do you really want your wife's picture used for such purposes? Though your avatar gives an excellent idea of "who you are", and an idea of the importance of your marriage to you; it really may lead to trouble on an anonymous internet forum such as this. Just a thought.
 
It's a shame that what you said above is true Willie. This is the number one reason more female pool players don't comeback or even come on here in the first place. I've seen Jenn B. put up with a lot of sexual crap on here...although she seems to be able to come right back at them...it's a NY thing.

Just think of all the players that would come on here if everyone would behave. I for one would like to see Allision, Jeanette, and other WPBA members on here. You can bet that they would would draw a ton (there's that ton again ) of NEW members on here. Both male and female. Johnnyt

WBM...Although I agree with you in principle, it is outrageous that posters cannot post a picture of an attractive woman (especially if they're 'connected', in marriage or not), without some posters making inappropriate comments. My friend, Captain Hook has been posting pictures of his very attractive wife for years, and hasn't had to deal with very much of this kind of stuff...and nothing along the lines of the comments made by Lee Tolbert.
This is especially disturbing to me personally, as BVal was merely sticking up for me, and requesting an apology to me by Tolbert/Oceanweb. That generated the 'stripper' comment, and started this ridiculous attack on BVal.

Now that Dave has unmasked Lee Tolbert as the former Oceanweb, I guess the root of the "ban Scott Lee" thread seems more plausible. This guy personally attacked instructors and lessons, and I stuck my nose in, to make my two cents known.

I have had people tell me how cute she is or that she is hot and I know that. People even tell me how lucky I am because I have a pretty wife who loves to play pool. I also know that with someone that looks like she does - certain people are going to say things. When he started calling her a stripper and wondering where she worked at and then continuing after I had said something to him - that is way beyond someone saying she is good looking or anything like that. We go to the pool hall a lot and I have heard people say some things that I just cannot believe. It is never people I know (regulars) it is people who are just in there bangin balls around. They don't know she is my wife - sometimes I say something and sometimes I don't but if I got mad at every person that said something about her - I would not have time for anything else in my life. I am a very lucky guy to have someone like her - not because she is beautiful but because she is the sweetest, smartest, funniest woman I have ever met. I appreciate everyone's support on here - it is very nice to know how many good people are out there. For anyone who says that I had brought this on myself - well I have to respectfully disagree.

I am not upset anymore and have moved on - no one like that will keep me down. No one has the power to keep me down. I am just responding to some of the comments that were left.

LOL - That is Addison Bear - She is one of our dogs that we saved from Sherriff Joe's pound. Her number is 602-IMN-HEAT. :D

Don't know all what transpired on here today, but I am saddened that I missed a picture of a good-looking woman just cause some jackass blew up on himself and ruined it for the rest of us who have nothing better to do all day. :(

I see. she appears to be a bull-mastiff breed! some years ago, I almost got me one "that kinda breed" but scared the hell out of mah mom because the dog was huge and stocky. got a red doberman puppy instead which scared her just the same when that puppy grew a year later. :D
