please write your review on how carmeli cues play, im interested in purchasing one, however, its solely on looks alone, before spending that kind of money, id like to know how they hit. If you can compare it to a prodcution cue, schon, predator etc.. please do so.. thank you!

I have owned only one carmeli shop sneaky which was ebony. To be honest I regret selling it because it was probably the best hitting cue I've owned. Stiff solid feel.

Too many darned subforums..

But i have owned 3 Carmelis and have liked them all BUT BUT BUT

I love this last one and consider it the best playing cue I have ever hit a ball with.

Its made differently than the other two. It has a continious core.
Ask Ariel about cues made like his Tadd Tribute series. He can explain and hook you up..

You will not be disappointed. What I noticed is that with the latest I get great feel and still get very good reactions of the cueball. In the past with other cues I have gotten either one but rarely both.

I have had upwards of 80 people play with my cue. Not one had anything negative to say. I know several of them ended up with a Carmeli.

One thing that most people say is that they really like the balance and hit.

Late last year, I purchased my first new playing cue in nearly twenty years. Ariel's cues were very highly rated by people who's opinions I respect. Purchased a Becote "Fancy Pete" from Martin Bick at Superiorcues.com. After playing with the cue for dozens of hours in Vegas, here is what I found.

The cue plays nearly identical to my twenty year old Schon Six Windows. I consider that to be praise of the highest order. The hit is solid. Perfectly weighted. Butt diameter small enough to fit my hand. The two shafts are somewhat "thicker" than I'm used to. Just over 13mm. The Triangle tips suit the cue perfectly. The final weight with either shaft is just slightly over 19oz.

I met Ariel at SBE. Like you, I want to have a more "custom" cue built. It's just hard for me to justify spending five or six times more for inlays and exotic woods. My Carmeli cue is just plain (no pun intended) great!

I have hit balls with 80-90% of cuemaker brands (custom and production) and have personally owned and played with: Dufferin, CueTec, Meucci, McDermott, Schon, Joss, Tiger, Padgett, Morris, Tad, JossWest, and Carmeli.

Ariel Carmeli makes the best hitting cue I have ever played with (soft hit, great feedback, ease of cue ball movement [balance]) and most importantly consistency of hit - they all play great! I have been stuck on Carmeli cues for the last 7 years.

The fact that his cues are beautiful is the bonus!

I've owned many Carmeli cues as well, from plain players to his fanciest that he ever made (at the time). They all play well. Cant really compare it to another cue. It shouldnt be long that people start comparing other cues to the hit of a Carmeli. I'll say it his like a Carmeli which = awesome

I have bought two of them, worth every penny.....the fit and finish is excellent.....they play consistent and are everything I would expect for my dollar.....hit is too subjective, advise you find someone locally and try one out.....

Excellent hitting cues, he pays attention to detail, hand picks his wood, has fresh designs and is reasonably priced too. Hard to beat one of his cues, he learned from some of the best!!

I have 22 or so unchalked Ariel Carmeli cues in stock. If you purchase from me, I will offer conditional buyer approval. That means I'll ship the cue with a cube of tan chalk and you can test hit with the cue for 10-15 minutes. If you don't like the cue, simply call me and tell me you want to return he cue. I'll issue a refund less all shipping once the cue is returned undamaged. I'm confident you'll like a Carmeli cue. They are made to play good. I'd say the shafts are similar in stiffness/ flexibility to a Schon.

That is a pretty righteous offer. I will have to keep that in mind.

You guys should.....I bought both of mine from Jazznpool.....both transactions were flawless....he is truly a man of his word and the product arrives, just as described....good luck in your shopping....

I own two and love them. Martin's deal is great and I would certainly take him up on it. I bought a Titleist tribute Carmeli and it is a beast. Thanks again Martin, and you too Ariel.
