Chapter 5, Not Giving up on the Road

weren't there any car washes in the neighborhood?

She could have had a shower and then called Scooter.

Yeah, shes Trolling now. The sad part is, many people on AZ tried to help her out and now she is trying to make us the butt of her jokes.

If by chance that it is true, its even sadder.

She'll be firing Air Barrels soon and running out the back door.

Like I said, half a drivers life is contained in the sleeper. No one leaves a truck unlocked.

Pink, don't you have an extra bedroom? She could move in with you guys and you could give her a job.

This is a great idea Terry! North Carolina is really beautiful in the spring!!!

Pink and Matt could steer and Stake her until she gets Pumped Back Up.

Shake and Bake.

that was a 1-Time offer last DEC w/ OMGWTF @ $3K.
plus, we've got company rolling in this weekend.
i am, however, hiring @ $100/day (cash) for the next 10days, for my show @ APR 5; work starts tomorrow morning.

Her itinerary has her in the Valley of the Sun in the Middle of Summer. She should get a good taste of heat, when she come to Phoenix, as there are days in Summer in Phoenix when it hit 122 in the shade.

Best advice I could give her is if you don't have money for a Motel with Good Working AC, stay out of the Phoenix Metro Area in Summer.

Thats the truth right there!...

100 bucks a day, you say eh?
Rhea would jump on that. She is currently on her knees working grout for 5 an hour.

Plus airfare? Then I will get Pumped up and play Matt. Yes.

If you guys have an old car, or a PeterBilt, in your back yard by the trailer, I could sleep in there.

I don't mind as long as you give me a blanket.

I know most of you people in NC live in trailers. I think thats great. just like camping all year round. It would be a pleasant change from the tent that I have been crashing in.

The Kansas trip was a no go, the guy had me waiting for a confirmation text for a few days at the greyhound. After two days of no sleep I was tired of waiting, snuck into an unoccupied 18 wheeler cab, the bed was comfortable, set the alarm on my phone for 1am. Got paranoid before my alarm went off and abandoned the truck before the driver returned.

Got a ride from someone headed to austin just gave them 35 dollars for gasoline. Stayed the night at a cheap motel and then went to practice pool at Skinny Bobs.

tried to get a 5th match in last night on league to qualify for the state tournament on april first. No one needed a sub so im going to get a match in on wednesday.

going to play in a tournament at round rock tavern tonight and then playing at the grand tomorrow and then skinny bobs.

WOW. That's downright depressing. You've become the first Hobo Hustler. I'm sure there were "others" before you, but none of them could have been this bad at it... just not possible.

I don't even like to stay at hotels that don't have room service, so staying in a cold truck, illegally entered, and just trying to make enough money to buy dinner... man, there has got to be a better way..... I never thought I'd say this, but I would rather shovel shit at a horse farm than live like this.....at least you can go home to a clean place with hot food, and a place to sleep after your day is done, which beats the hell out of looking for a park bench, and a half eaten burrito.

Box Car Rhea. Hey, Willie had a good life.

Trailers for sale or rent. I don't pay no union dues.

Blue hog rider you make me laugh loud.

Oh, you must mean, LOL. Get with the internet program Buddy.

But thank you. I work at a hospital. If I can make a few people smile per day, then my job is worth it.

PS - They let me out of the Psych Ward on occasion.

LOLX2. My heath insurance is awful now but my son had his appendix taken out three weeks ago and people who work there make it better. What I paid 2000 dollars for I now pay 11000 for now and the people who work there make it better. Don't get me wrong I would pay whatever to make him better.

Should have come up to Canada. I could have had that OP done for you for a 6 pack of Molson Canadian.

Of course, a 6 in Canada is also 20 bucks. I don't know how you guys can do it sometimes.

My last OP would have cost me 250 K if I were in the USA.

I'm 44 like to play pool, fish and hunt. It's getting to where I work for the man and nothing else.
I have to tell my kids but I have to work to pay bills. 10 years ago I made more for less on the hour.

Preciate the offer and I got the first round if we ever get to shot a game.

you wouldn't be the 1ST to sleep in a car in my driveway -

it's 10-12hr days, straight....
$100/day.
i feed & drink you - heavily, so be able to keep up!

transit & lodging is your problem - but for YOU - i'll make an exception. i've got a tent, with YOUR BHR NAME on it! plus a matching blowup chair & flashlight. you can setup on the DECK. next to the jacuzzi.

PS - it was 77 degrees today. and we're expecting 3 inches of snow on MON. come PREPARED!

plus a matching blowup chair

Me no need blow up chair. Blow up doll instead and then deal, ok.

PS. You couldn't afford to keep me in beer.

But, a 100 a day is decent. I used to be a fair salesman, (cars), so would probably be worth my keep for a few days.

I take the hundred back to Canada and its worth more. We still like American bucks up here. Save em until we go on holidays.

Where the hell can you find a brain transplant for $250k in the states?

i was originally going to put the "chair", in "quotes".
and i just realized, that the damn tent/chair - are....BLUE.

i'll work your ass-off. whether it's 6 hrs, or 16hrs - $100. hard labor - painting, cracking skids, assembling, lifting/moving heavy furniture. ask KK9....

but we've got a frozen margarita machine in the shrm that starts flowing by 5:00 (somewhere). otherwise - i only stock Corona.

if Rhea were here, then i'd have work for her - like, tomorrow - $1000. and she could stay w/ her sisters @ N/C & we could pick her up en route @ Hwy68/40, which is 3 mls from us.
