Or it's about gambling.
Yeah that's where I was going. I kind of went off track there at the end. Definitely about gambling.
Gambling is an addiction. IMO, Rhea has a gambling problem.
I played a local guy on Saturday night after a small 8-ball tournament played on Diamond BB's. He's one of the best players in that area (small area) and is a strong 7 in 8-ball and a strong 8-9 in 9-ball. I had just met him that night, through a friend. He was more than generous and willing to match up. I mentioned I didn't bring much cash and was only looking to match up for cheap. We settled on race-to-6 10-ball winner breaks for $50 a set. He won the first set 6-2. We played the second set and I got out to a decent lead, then he started dogging them and leaving me jammed up. He won the second set 6-4 and agreed to play me again sometime. Shook hands and payed the man. Playing for little brings out the player in anyone. There is something to win besides pride.
Rhea matching up without knowing the other player's speed, that's gambling. There is nothing positive about being a gambler. The "gamblers" that win big, they weren't gambling. All those "gamblers" at the horse track, they got some insight before betting. That's not gambling.
