I have refrained from posting on your thread thinking that you crave and thrive from all the attention you get, even if it is negative. But it's hard to hold back when you see so much stupidity in the world.
You are one delusional woman. Lazy enough to give up the notion of hard work to fund this pipe dream, and crazy enough to think that this is actually a good idea.
Please let us know when your "book" comes out. I will gift it to my daughter as a lesson on what not to do in life.
Won't be long she will be riding and sleeping in box cars and picking up cans off the side of the road to buy food. Where is this gonna end?

This is the second time you have posted and neglected to mention the poor and dangerous choices that she's made lately. Without offering sound and healthy advice it becomes nothing more than encouraging ignorant behavior. Breaking and entering into someone's truck? How about addressing that?

There are other players doing this all over the USA but just at a different level.
The adventure is the rush. But not for everyone.
I've played on the road off and on all my life. The players that have dome this all over will understand.
Ones that haven't would never understand.
I'm not saying it is right or wrong. It;s just what she wants to do and she is doing it.

I know the person. Honest and fair with everyone.
Anyone else just doesn't understand and i don't blame them.

Though I haven't posted much on the subject I have enjoyed the entertainment of this thread and the others that Rhea has posted about her road adventures. At first I was on the "go Rhea" side of the house but after reading the latest and greatest my opinion has changed...I would still like to see Rhea succeed but I agree she is on the wrong path...
Is there anything wrong with chasing a dream?...No absolutely not! But Rhea at some point you're going to have to formulate a new plan. That doesn't mean you have to give up on your dream just reevaluate the situation you're in. No car, No cash, No regular source of income and nowhere to call home. I'm not saying this to bash on you but you have to come at this from a different angle...
Why not find a place to settle down for a bit to reestablish yourself? Get a job somewhere and play pool in your spare time until you get the things you need on the road...you can save up a bank roll, you can get a car and in your spare time you can still spend time learning to master your game. Don't think of it as giving up on your dream but use it as a stepping stone to achieve your dream.
Make the next chapter a success by learning from the mistakes you've made in the last few chapters...If you always do what you've always done you'll always get what you've always got...time to make a change...

She should get a job that is pool related and work on her skills.

I must say that you are gloryfying her situation, wich to me sounds pretty desperate.
If you don`t have to scrape by to make a living - why do it?
I have done the sleeping in a Dog Station waiting on a buss that was leaving in 18 hours, last time was in Indy Town, plus the amusement factor is worth the discomfort.
Well if you spent the $199 you could have qualified for doing the commercial where you say "No I'm really not a pool player but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night".

Geno, The top bolded line is where you should have stopped. Would you want your daughter living this lifestyle? Would you give your daughter your best wishes as she broke into tractor trailers and slept in bus stops? HAVING FUN are you kidding? I know the answer because your a good guy, we have met and played some. I honestly think you should reconsider what advice your giving to her. I think the days of the road hustlers are gone and she just might listen to you if you told her that. JMO!
