But for me I have lost respect for the long list posters who obviously are no judges of ability. Their opinions are valid but their knowledge of professional sporting skills is glaringly lacking.
CW's ability to perform at a high level in tournaments in which he is personally involved is a true measure of his performance.

wow charlie williams might be the most underrated player on this board. I think people underestimate him because they dont like him or have heard bad things about him or seen it in person.
Granted ok, the mosconi cup guys probably beat him. I actually think he beats Oscar, but I could be wrong. But some of these answers are really out of line.

I think Charlie is in the top 20 of american players. Ive never heard of him gambling high stakes but I think at the next big event that hes in, we should go ahead and back some of these opinions with some money on the matches. I like Charlie to beat 60-70% of the players listed in this thread.

Uwate, CW is by far the most under rated pool player I've ever heard of. I did have a panic attack when they think a Kirkwood can beat him, really though like really?
