I am a UAW member here in Indiana and our local union hall has three GC2s and a Brunswick Centurion table. All are 9 footers. I convinced the hall to hire fellow AZ'er JZMechanix to do the work, and Im telling you what, it was well worth every single penny to have Jack come do the tables. He is very professional and pays close attention to detail. We had him put new 860hr on all 4 tables, he also replaced all the rubber on the GCs with brand new Diamond rubber. He stretched the cloth VERY tight and glued it instead of stapling it, which made a huge difference! I am going to have him do my table when I get my new house here soon. He does really good work. Heres a few pics! I need to take some more tho! lol!

Jack does great work and I'm sure everyone there will be more then satisfied with the play of the tables.
The best pic tho, is the one in your avatar.

Wow, that looks like a sweet setup. We only get beer and BBQ once a quarter with my union and I think that's just to keep the people who ain't working from complaining so much. Lol! You're fortunate to have a place like that. Congrats!

"will ya cut that sunshine out !"
other than that , looks like a nice place to shoot !

hope y'all have less time to spend there soon !

(and more back on the line . . . )

Very nice setup. Thanks for posting the pics. Disappointed that you didn't include a pic of the Centurion (did you mean Centennial?). Those older Brunswick's are the cat's pajamas.

Thanks for all the kind words. We are very fortunate to have such a nice union hall, and the sunshine during the day sucks quite a bit, but in the daytime hours its mostly older retired people that play on these tables, and they dont seem to mind the blinding light, lol. Im usually up there late at night :grin-square:. The fourth table is not a Centennial, I wish it was though! If anyone is ever in Kokomo around midnight, look me up and we can go hit a few up there  Thanks again Jack, the tables play great.

Looks like any old redone table to me.

Now see, THAT"S the ART of refinishing pool tables the way Jack does it. Gotta hand it to Jack for doing such a great job on these tables the way he did them...having a full time M-F job of building caskets....yep, thats right....building "Caskets" that go into the ground...the kind YOU get buried in. But you have to admit, Jack did a hell of a job on these tables to make them look just like pool tables SHOULD look, instead of what WE as table mechanics see everyday:grin: By the way, what is it you do for a living again?;) Just wondering if you work 2 jobs or not...like Jack does;)
