Im so confused by all of this. Is this not a man? From what ive heard anyways. Not trying to be rude. Just want the facts. From what i know i keep reading threads by a man thats now a woman who talks about women in the fargorate top 100 who can beat men. Am i missing something here? Im actually really confused as to the point and reasoning of any of this.

Thats coz you are considering too much. Only thing you need to worry about is some little girl by the name of chezka coming to your town and busting all of ya.

Gender differences are legitimate discussions that are on the front burner in many areas, not just pool. I think what motivates any individual's interest is not so important.

Fargo Ratings work on the idea the if A beats B with about the same frequency and by about the same amount as C beats B, then we can say A plays about the same as C.

Occasionally we get to check out predictions like this; and more than occasionally we get to talk about it.

I'd say it is interesting to a lot of people

I'd like to see Jesse Bowman try to give Siming Chen the 7 ball, he would lose all of his backers money.

I'd get on board with donny mills playing this game.

How does this affect you again? Asa man that is a woman or something else????

On the bar-box? That's Jesse's game. She wouldn't like any part of playing him on a bar table. He's never been known as a big-table player.

He cant play a lick on any table, she robs him in this game. Donny Mills makes him look like an APA 4 on a BB. Nobody wants to see this massacre

Damn...guess Jesse musta got bored with it.

Can't beat anyone today yesterday, I guess. Actually, I know.

It is not surprising that you or others are confused. This thread may or may not have or need a point. Rhea is just experimenting. It ain't no thang.

Rhea and Mike, I have a serious question for you both that both I and others would like to know.

Rhea, I know you say you play in a lot of weekly tournaments so I don't think this question would apply to those. This is more for the regional tournaments you play when they both women's and open divisions. Are you allowed to play in the women's division and if so do you ?

Mike; in regards to your Fargo list, how have you / will you handle this situation as to which list to use ?

Of course I play in women's tournaments, I am a woman.

Forgive me as I don't really know a whole lot about this kind of thing. But I've read many threads on here discussing this very thing - but in general. Such as men dressing up as woman to play in woman's events to have an advantage. Obviously pool doesn't have a " real " governing body. That would not be the case though right if pool ever happened to make it into the Olympics correct? Dont they test or whatever? What does your license say? Do all tournaments now allow this?

My license says I am female because I am a female, case closed.

I think you meant to say does Rhea play in the Men's events to test her mettle. See how she stacks up against some tough players. Compete with the very best in the area. And then, keep track of where she finishes in each event to see how well she fairs against the two different type of tourneys. Then come back and let us know which one you make the most money at, or finish highest in and which one you are just donating your money for the cause.

Personally, I'd like to know how she does in two different type of events and see the differing results no matter the outcome. It would be an interesting tracking method to see if there is any difference.

OK I get it - does it 365 but what about my other questions. Do you have any idea BB?

RJ, it would be interesting but I think we all are 99% sure what would happen vast majority of the time.

Yes, she plays very well. Like a young Allison Fisher. We'll see if she can top her career or not? Won't be easy :)

We have no policy on this issue at this point.

In general, if a player lives as a man and identifies as male, he is male.
If a player lives as a female and identifies as female, she is female.

I can imagine if it became an issue, sex hormone levels would be the way to resolve it. But again we have no policy at this point.
