Vonn gleaned the IPT WEBSITE "update" thru diligence.

IMO an announcement should still be forthcoming. It would be disappointing if this is the extent of IPT communication today.

"Disappointing" isn't even the word for it.

The "announcements" in the past came in the form of an email to the players. This was a website update sent to the people that signed up to get updates emailed to them.

It would be beyond disrespectful for them to ignore the players and not give them their promised "announcement". They want & need to know about the Reno payments, the "secured funding" for said payment, and the words that the "Ho deal" is final. (yeah, right )

An atrocity is what it would be if they consider this today's "announcement". Sadly, I wouldn't put it past them.

I hope you start feeling better.

If they had gotten an email, it would've made it's way to the forum somehow. Someone would've posted it or sent it to someone on here to post.

The fact that they (IPT) issued this 'announcement' without even addressing the players still owed money from Reno is one thing, but to still have NOT paid the Referees for a 'job' already completed is total BS.

He received plenty of warnings about joining KT's scam brigade prior to his attachment to the IPT. Deno ran to KT with open arms and hungry wallet. Willing participant or hapless fool?. I don't see him resigning in protest of KT's schenanigans do you?. Maybe he thinks he can plug the hole and save the sinking ship, but he's no innocent angel. Offer pity to the ones who truly deserve it, the players.

If there is going to be a future venue, I hope they don't schedule this at the same time as Valley Forge. Which would be par for the course for these ******. Do I remember correctly, KT WANTING TO WORK TOGETHER WITH THE OTHER ORGANISATIONS....Perfect example US OPEN.

Dude (and Dudette), whether it be a rumor or not, something had to have happened for said "rumor" to materialize.

Now, I'll respect Mike's request and will mention it no further.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the gag-order on said "rumor" will be lifted soon.

Meanwhile, I know everyone wanted to believe in this. Hell, even though I was skeptical at times (and obviously with good reason), I wanted to believe. It's done. Kaput. Over. This is how it ends, guys. If I'm wrong I'll eat all the crow you guys can serve up, but we all know that isn't the case. There isn't much left to say, really, and I don't know why the IPT even bothers to give half-assed updates anymore. No one cares about an announcement about an upcoming announcement. I honestly hope that the number of people who are actually buying any of this guy's BS is dropping rapidly.

Like another poster, I suggested (quite a while ago) that the IPT may be busy protecting itself, perhaps by bankruptcy. Sit around and wait if you want, but you're not going to get a dime if you do that. You may not get a dime if you try to get it either, but at least you did try. If I were owed less money than it would cost me to pursue legal avenues then, sure, I might just sit around and hope also but, if the reward were greater than the risk, I'd be going after the money now.

I think that this was what we were all waiting for...

If I have understood it correct, the players will receive phonecalls during the next two or three days regarding payouts, and then the checks will be posted.

So that means that there is still at least one more week of waiting.

If we are all smart we will take a break from this forum for a week and try to play some pool ourselves, and check some of Bernie's next 50 new threads about Kevin and Deno next Monday.

I would hate to have to sit at a negotiating table with Kevin Trudeau and try to negotiate a deal buying a car. I just know when it was over my head would be spinning, I would be out of money, I would pay top dollar for the car and I would be driving home with a car that I did not even want.

I am just saddened that someone that comes from such a rich history of billiards became a willing participant in what will likely be the biggest fiasco to hit the pool world...

IPT calls the players, and send checks to Linda, Bernie and the other one who finished last in the tournament. Then they will post here on the forum that they have got paid.

The best players who are owed the most are "unfortunately" on it's way to Manila now, and will stay there for two weeks, so the IPT can't get in touch with them, so their checks will have to wait a little longer...

Anyway, the rumour will spread that the IPT has paid players and there will be 30 people minimum on each of the last qualifiers! The best players will get the information about the checks, so they will calm down, and KT can send them an announcement that they will also receive their checks soon! Just be patient, my friends!

Man, that would put him in the upper car-salesman league, or what?

Agreed. Deno had a great name for himself. It's a real shame he didn't value his reputation enough to pass on going to bed with a charlatan
