This is a grat question. I watched the first match, haven't been able to watch this one. What do people think? Is DO a better 1-hole player now? If so, how?
Reading between teh lines in Freddie's post, I would think not (yet).
 
If Tony buttons down and rope-a-dopes Dennis then he's still got a chance....plus needs to execute when he gets the first look. The flashy stuff when he''s up by 6 balls just HAS TO STOP.
 
Jeremy will be doing a short interview with the players today right before play begins to get their thoughts about the match so far.

Tony put down a good break in game one today and two shots later he ran 8 and out to win game one today.

I think we are getting largely what we will see from dennis, he iron side out a final few details and there is room for better, but imo, the available uptick is small.

And to get a little more back on track for this thread, I'll pose a question...

When a highly skilled player starts learning one pocket (think James Aranas recently) or imagine Ko Pin Yi or Albin Ouschan, or any of a number of top players who don't really know the game...

...we all know that player will learn fast in the early going, where the player can really benefit a lot by a small amount of new knowledge. Then as the player gets better, further improvement gets harder and harder to come by...

So the question is this:

Is DO a moving target?
