Chris passed away this morning after being in a coma for about a day. It was for the best and he is now much better off and not in pain or suffering anymore. Arrangements are in the works and will let everyone know when they will be held - looking like Tuesday. Donating his body will not work as they need 6 months advance notice so we are going to have him cremated and have a service, no funeral.

Thank you all for being here for me and Spike.

Chris gave so much of himself all the time. He posted on Billiards Digest chalk board regularly and played in the US Open last year. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Cass family. Chris was a sweet and gentle man, always generous to others. May he rest in peace!

Chris is currently recovering the table upstairs so that he and THE man can work out a fair game! Give em' heck Chris. ;)

My deepest sympathies to, Chris', family. Bad things have been said about virtually all pool players at one time or another. Chris, was one of the exceptions. Everyone loved, Chris. A truly wonderful guy. RIP, my friend.

This is sad to hear.
But i think we all know he is in a better place.
He was one of the reasons i lurked CCB.
He will be missed.
His family are in my prayers.

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

Chris is all around us...watching and guiding as he did in life. Thank you for everything, Chris.

My deepest sympathes to Heide and Spike and to all those who loved Chris. Everytime I saw him, he had a great smile on his face! He was always so nice and had a warm presence. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him on a few different occasions.

Karate Mom, our heartfelt wishes...

We are so sorry for your loss. As St. Paul Gal on BD, I've had thepleasure of reading many of Chris' wonderful thoughts and posts over the years.

It was great seeing you, Chris and Spike at the Open this fall. Chris was so proud of Spike during the Juniors.

I will miss him, and his encouragement.
