Pick the top 10 players in the USA, I'll pick 5 of them and play them all a race to what ever. 10, 15 ahead would be a good test on a 5/10 playing roll out rules so there's no luck involved. I don't want to "luck out". ;)

Who is considered a "top player"? Make sure they can actually make it to Texas before you sign them up, they are all going to get played.....Shane will just have to be last.

If he does, he needs complete isolation from family, work, friends, you name it for at least two weeks 8 hrs day practice, and the tourney duration, anything less of that he will be knocked off in 1st round by an unknown player, attempt the looser side, may get another win or two. One of the major factors will be he is known to many as top notch player and will play him as if he is God and will not give him a chance!!

But i would love him to win it all..

Max Eberly does that on the regular. He's got tons of videos explaining exactly what he's doing while he's doing it. Max is a great guy and I consider him a friend. What he does he so very impressive and he's a great player, but that doesn't mean Max doesn't need a little weight from the top guys.

TAR is doing their own thing, and so am I...we will be doing the streaming in Dallas/Ft. Worth....there's some SERIOUS money here folks. The economy is booming and we need some pool action and I'm getting the "nod" to represent.....I can't wait, the last time I played was almost a year ago in Vegas against Scott Frost. I really like to play pool, and especially now, I understand this TOI System better than ever and it shows.

So pick the top 10 then make them come to you and play on a bigger table with different rules? Makes perfect sense. Why don't we pick the top 10 straight pool players and make them play banks on a barbox?

I may do that, it's not planned yet. Tournaments like that aren't something I enjoy very much. It's so much different than it used to be, but I did play last year, the mosquitoes were plentiful, it's on a boat.

There's just so little money there it creates a tense atmosphere, which is tolerable, but I'd rather play head's up matches in Dallas.

Oh man C.J. is being so mean to these world champions making them play on a big table and play two foul push out rules. Why the big problem with a guy trying to get action? Did Bartram catch a lot of flack when he posted the names of the guys he would play and how he would play them?

I think, if it pans out, it will be pretty interesting to see who wants to match up.
 
Never-mind I somewhat kinda got an idea with the tar thing. None the less I would like to see CJ make a rocky balboa style comeback.

I was at DCC this year, first time attending a big tourney. Had a great time. Tunica is quite a bit further but I'm giving it serious consideration. Mosquitoes definitely not good.

I did not read all of the CJ/TAR thread but I thought this was a different topic. Everyone is just speculating as to CJ's current speed & comeback stories are always good stories. If CJ starts winning some money matches who knows where it might go. If he loses his popularity might wane. I for one would hope not, because I think CJ can do some Good for the Game. CJ is willling to put it on the line. Basically he has been callled out, but not by anyone willing to actually play him.

Some people say this or some say that. Well, let's see. All we need is for someone to step up & fade CJ for several G'$.

Cleary can correct me if I am wrong, but I think he is sort of saying in a way you are massaging the game and all the options/criteria to be in your favor...hustlers gonna hustle!
 
I'd love to see someone match up with CJ, I think he'd give most anyone all they want. IT would sure be fun to see IMHO..

CJ, it seems you have a few fan's that follow all of your threads, getting their digs in at every chance. It must make you chuckle to see such devotee's. :)

I think he just means that the game the top players are playing nowadays is 10 ball on normal diamond or gold crown.

I'd like to see you play a match as well and I think if you agreed to play under these conditions you'd have some action. Otherwise you may as well challenge them at bumper pool or sth. People typically don't go out of the way for what they perceive to be gaff games. Well maybe other than SVB.

Exactly. I would guess most of the players under 35 don't even know the rules to push up, much less the strategy. You can teach a snooker player the rules to one pocket in 10 minutes, they doesnt mean they will know how to play.
