As I remember, I bought this cue in 1992. Have never chalked it, or hit a ball with it. This classic Burton has been in deep storage for eighteen years. It looks brand new, I guess there is no reason why it shouldnt.

I keep wanting to take it out and play with it, just to see how it hits. But I just dont want to chalk it up once and stick it back in the case for another stint.........

This is a gorgeous piece of history! Thanks for showing us.

Happy Holidays!

Steve,
That cue is fantastic. A true piece of history. Maybe try another makers shaft. Nice pics.

Glen

Glen, Burton made them with the male end of the joint in the shaft

I think someone like Jerry -R- or Paul Rubino could reproduce a shaft like that. It might would be worth a few phone calls.

Joel Hercek would be the guy,
but I believe Steve already knows that...:yeah:

Very nice cue Steve...

IMHO Mr. Spain would prefer to see his cue hit a few balls every now and then. I understand it would no longer be quite the same, collector wise, but I think cues should be played, unless they are specifically made as pieces of art.

hey

thanks for the great comments. I do have a couple of shafts from my Burton six pointer. I will put one on and play some, will let you know how it is...................but remember this is going to be coming from a guy that runs 2 balls at best LOL
