In my world if you ask for money with no intentions of paying it back, that's the same as stealing.
This^^^^^
It's a matter of respect - on many different levels.
I'd like to have back the money I loaned some people thinking I would get paid back.

You have got to be kidding. What about Dog Fighting, Shootings, Rape , Involuntary manslaughter, Voluntary manslaughter, Drug use, Drug dealing, Fixing sporting events. ETC................... I bet you pay good money to watch your favorite one of these people. You think pool players are that bad , Wake up. I have been involved in a legal malpractice lawsuit for a few years now.
Don't come on here and tell me anything about lowlife , no good cheats, and liars. chances are next time youself or an acquaintance get in trouble. you will pay $150 plus to the finest of the crooks to defend you.
Edit. Just noticed that you sell your book on this site, as of yet haven't donated to AZ yourself by purchasing a Gold Membership.
A non contributor yourself but expecting everyone else to step up. Not unlike, Cliff and Gary.
Don't know how to get a gold membership, cost, priviigies, etc., clue me in guys !
If all of us who viewed this site sent Cliff a dollar he would be staked in his next few tournaments. make your next post "pay for view " Cliff !
Don't feel pressured to get a gold membership. It costs $39 and some change a year. You can see photos bigger on the PHOTO PAGE in the Main Page, and it gives you space increase to 200 for PMs.
They used to have a monthly contest for gold members, but I'm not sure if that's still going on.
Mike Howerton, the webmaster, said there will be more benefits coming since they revamped the forum.
But you should never feel pushed into doing it just because another member is pushing you to do so. That's not fair. It is up to you, how much benefit you will receive from it.
There is a sticky post at the top of the Main Forum that will explain the benefits and how to pay for it, if you so desire.

Really appreciate you guys help ! I'd join but I'm busted, disgusted, and certainly can't be trusted !

With due respect for Mr Joyner (whom I have never met), maybe he needs to get a Job (or a better job) to fulfill his ambitions.
Astonishing, you'd ask for money on your very first post. Sorry sir...but your repute already precedes you:
Nickname for Cliff - 09-01-2009, 11:48 AM
I am not one who is big on the whole rhyming name thing, like Shannon "the cannon" Earl "the pearl"
Anyway, I was thinking what would be a good name for Cliff Joyner, and it dawned upon me.
Cliff "Tuesday" Joyner If you are having a hard time figuring out this name, think of what Whimpy from Popeye says.
Talking Cliff "The Bitemaster" Joyner - 09-01-2009, 08:55 PM
Cliff gives up weight better than anyone who has ever lived, but he actually "Bites" (borrows money) even better than he plays so that will explain my nickname. No one is even close to his biting ability.

How about wimpy. "I'll gladly pay you later if I lose to you today."
Who are you? Just curious if you are actually respected in this community or are you considered just another troll..
His name is Ryan Theewen of Rat Cues.....he has been with Meuler since the late 90s.
He gets a lotta respect in the billiard community.
When he posts, I always assume he knows of what he speaks.
That is not Ryan. Ryan is ratcues, not ratnip.
