While it is true that Glen's mom passed away in a single moment, and a blessing that he was there to be with her, it's much better to go that way (immediately) rather than lasting days, weeks or months, with the devastating effects of those kinds of events. At least she spent her last time with one of those closest to her (and likely a very happy time for both). My own mother will be 84 January 27th. Dealing with your parent's demise (untimely or not), is something we all eventually have to deal with. My condolences to Glen and his family. I'm headed for Chicago to spend Xmas with my own mom...because you just never know.
