Watched the stream of the end of the breakers tourney & have to say I see why so many people hold Jesse's Barbox game so high...He played absolutely great & broke the balls better than anyone else that i watched with Cj Willey being a close 2nd in the breakin department...Cj had his break going on as well finishing up 3rd....I talked to John Schmidt on Saturday & he had told me the field was like 100 strong with 99 having a legit shot to win...Even tho John would Rather play on the 9 footers where his talents are show cased...He still played great to come in 2nd in such a field of Barbox champions...Congrats to John as well...was surprised to see the guy I bought in the Gulfport 1 poc tourney(Darrel Baggard)...from Jackson Ms...Not sure if I spelled his last name correctly... do so well coming in 4th just barly losing to John 9-8 ending his run...The end of the tourney with all players involved at the end was for sure Barbox pool at it's highest level...Thanks guys for streaming it...I told John I was gonna try & make it down there on my New Harley since he had road his bike to Mobile & try and do some riding after but my Gal pal didn't want to chance getting caught in a thunderstorm & wanted to stay local...Next time John I'll leave her home If she don't want to go...by that time the novelty of the new toy will have wore off on her..lol:thumbup:

From everything I watched, Jesse was on FIRE! I guess I haven't watched thi guy play much, bc I was in awe. As good as he was playing, it would have been a shame if he didn't win. Congrats jb!

that jesse makes shots from everywhere jesse makes up his own shots as he goes along running out from everywhere he is amazing

Lil Arab get in any action?

Lil Arab get in any action?

He won 2 $2500 sets playing Cliff Joiner even on the barbox....lost 6 games at $300 a game to Scott frost getting 9-6 & was playing somebody from Louisiana yesterday giving a spot when I called My Buddy Brandon to get the 411..I think he was down..not sure how they wound up....didn't talk to Gary...might give him a shout in a few.

Thanks for the update Troy. My road dawg and I left early, tired from a long weekend of fun but we had a great time in spite of making no dough.

I spoke to Jessie for a few minutes during the tournament and he said he would be at White Diamonds in Lafayette for the October tournament.

Mobile is always a fun tournament although I think it is a bit more grueling than the Lafayette tournament. There is a LOT of action 24/7 on the big tables at Mobile, every year bringing in big names like Billy Cardassian and Artie Betternotbet to play big dollar sets.

Congrats to Troy, John and CJ!

I had a good time at Mobile. Finaly met Joey A, good guy, just wish we could have got together and played some. I got to see Scotty for the first time in 15yrs, which lead to a drinking party that i paid for sunday after only three hrs sleep. I left at 5:00 am. Does anyone know the top 10 finishers? Met many good people there. First time to be back in Moblie in 25yrs. The only bad thing was, I had 4 games set for the barboxes, and you can forget getting one until the tournament is over. I ended up having to play on a 8 footer, and who ever did his tables needs to come back and level them. I had never seen tables roll off that much. I'm just talking about the 8 footers. Oh, and John was right, this tournament was loaded with top barbox players.

Troy, that's Darryl Biggart from Jackson. And your bud, Gary "The Little Arab" Abood would certainly have won the action award if they'd had one! He was in action constantly, and played the tournament as well. I really like his game. Getting only 9-6 from Frost is no picnic. Gary is already an accomplished 9-baller, and I predict that he'll become a force in one-pocket as well.

Doc

The 1st time I ever saw Darryl hit a ball was over there at the 1 pocket tourney...He played Gary 1st & loss but came all the way thru the losers bracket to come out in the money...only reason I bought him was hearing others talk so high of his game....then watching him on the stream I have to say..He deffinately got game....4th amongst that field is nothing to hang your head low on for sure...take care Doc

wow!!!!!!!

i meet jessie for the first time here, very nice guy i might add. his game is so sick its crazy.he ran over champions like he did average players. and i know, jessie your reading this, so answer me one question. is there anybody in the world you would'nt play (gamble) on the bar box? because i never seen such a sicker bar table game, ever!

You sure did bring it for the very little you ever play on the lil tables...top level Barbox play usually the player has a different stroke...God forbid if you get to liking the lil tables & put some hours in:D
