We need to send a couple tour buses full of So Cal's to cheer him on!

Thanks folks for the support! I am very grateful for this opportunity and gonna try my best to take full advantage of it. :)

A big congrats to Corey and Johnny as well. They are great players and are much more deserving than me. Its unfortunate the Mosconi Cup can't have a 10 man team because there are so many great and deserving players. Stevie, Rodney, Earl, Donny, CB, all of them have had great runs. Whoever gets on, has my full support and Ill be doing my best to help them out...

I haven't been so motivated to practice and get better since the IPT qualifiers. This isn't going to be a party. Ill be busting my butt to bring the Cup back to US ground. Starting now.

Congrats Oscar!! It's great to "see" the enthusiasm pumping out through your keyboard. It'll take a herculean effort to beat that strong European squad, but we can do it if we're prepared and psyched! Good luck, we'll be pulling for you!

Hey Oscar, would you mind telling us a bit @ yourself? Do you work, are you married, kids, how you got started, mentor, where you play and how often, etc...

Well, I figure you're going to be thrust even bigger time into the spotlight, so may as well get a head start!

KK9 <- thinks Oscar will say Jay is his mentor ;) or maybe Ernesto

Congrats Oscar and Corey...Do you know of any mechanics that might set up the match table with 4" pockets?

Congrats, Oscar, on securing a Mosconi Cup place and for being ranked #1 in the US! You've come a long way, and so fast!

You have worked hard to earn it & you deserve to be there. Your enthusiasm and focus will be an asset to our team and you are in great company so far.

Ticket's been paid for, room's been paid for, just waiting for Dec 9 to hit the road

See you there :)

Hey KoolKat, no problem. I actually work full time with my dad. Fixing tables. Been doing that for 21 years. Every weekend or anytime I have a day off from school, i work. Thats the way Ive been financing my tournaments the past few years. Im not the type to depend on mommy and daddy to support me. So thats what pays the bills, not running out.

Uh, definitely no kids, can barely support myself! haha. Single and taking applications ;) Besides that, Im 24 and been playing pool for 6 years. Seriously for 3, well basically since the IPT. Obviously learned everything I know from my dad.

Still go to school and majoring in Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. I guess thats basically it. Thanks again everyone. Im gonna get off the internet and start practicing ;)

I had argued on another thread that this guy deserves a cover on a billiard magazine... See what I was ranting about?

Well done and you've earned it all own your own:smile:
