Thanks to TAR's stream of the 2012 US Open Onepocket tournament last night, we were all treated, for the final match of the night, with Mr. Billy Incardona and Danny Smith. Billy does not play in many tournaments, so it was very nice to see him in action again. Billy is 68 years old. Think about it.. 68 years old!!! Don't you wish you could be challenging young pro players in a major championship on the TV table, and winning at 68 years old!

Billy's had quite a few issues with his back over the years, and he recently had surgery to help him with those problems. He went thru a painful mending process and only recently has started to feel better and start hitting some balls.

Billy's opponent is a young gun (Danny Smith) that is no knockover, finishing 4th in the Derby's bank pool division this year. He didn't seem to be too concerned with Billy's reputation and was firing in shots from all over, and making them. Billy was a little tight and struggled early on and was down 2-0 pretty quick. Billy started to get his groove thang going though and reeled off 4 straight games to win 4-2! He made some nice shots and stayed cool, especially when he could have been down 3-0. Billy ground out a nice win over a good player and moves on today, to face another young player (hell, everyone's young, know what I'm saying:smile:) in Bernie Pettipiece from AZ who specializes in onepocket.

Go Billy!!!!

A few quick pics, to go along with the fine memories you gave us last night, Billy!

Great thread. I missed the festivities, so thanks for providing the update and the pics. Love the pics! :p

Go, Billy, go!

Great comeback. It was really nice seeing him play again on the stream. I didn't get to finish watching the match and had to leave when Danny was up 2-0. I honestly thought it was all over as Billy was really strugling, but I just looked at the brackets and discovered he pulled off the win. I always pull for Billy and hopefully we will see him go deep in this event.

Great Comeback,Billy.

It was nice to see Billy hang in there and eventually claim the win. Some great strategies from both sides, and superb shots were executed. Can't wait for today's matches. Thanks Justin and TAR. Btw, that Jay guy who commentates is pretty good.:D

that was pretty sick. down 2-0 and comeback to win 4-2. danny just made some shots that killed him. i think the dagger in the heart was knocking in the 7 by accident which was billy's winning ball for game 3.

Great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your an inspiration to everyone. Great job my friend.

Geno.......

Thank you

Oh you mean Billy :D

Well, I'll thank you for this, Cali.

Whenever I see Billy looking down a cue, I'm reminded of Gary Spaeth.
When I see this 'head tilt'...I assume they were good young players.

When are these young whippersnappers going to learn that one hole is an old mans game! LOL!
Youre never out till the last ball!
Thanks Moustache for making us old guys look good.

Billy you are the man!

but darn I missed it, i didn't watch it, is there any upload somewhere in a website for those of us who missed it? Please post a link if there's any, thanks.

Nice work Billy. It was funny to watch Danny as the match progressed. He was laughing it off in the beginning and then you caught a flashback on him.

I am pulling for you to win the whole damn thing!!

Great job Sir..

Great Job, I wish I could have been there to see that. Thanks for posting this Cali.
