Congratulations to Danny Harriman

danny: your back to back wins in this event are truly impressive. your ability to play and compete under pressure is your strong suit and a quality that some very gifted straight pool players lack. you are on track to become a world champion.

Congratulations, Danny! Wish I could have been there to see it.

Just curious,

I saw the prize money breakdown for this tourney. Not too shabby!

Approx $14,600.00 with only 35 entries.

Does anyone know the entry fee and how much was added?

Also, did John Schmidt not play in this event?

Thanks. Bernie.

Nope, John didn't play, that's why Danny won! Just kidding:D. I think the entry fee was around $150, but I am wrong a lot, so don't quote me.

Per the tournament announcement in the other section, the entry fee was $250 with a $50 late fee after June 10.

First I would like to thank Peter Burrows plus Cindy and Rick also for organizing and graciously hosting such a fine tournament, also thanks for all the nice comments. I was happy with the way I played on the 2nd day, the Pool Room (Big Daddy's) had tables that don't roll off and great food. Some say the equip. was too forgiving, that would probably favor me as I have not been practicing much.;) So again thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible, it was nice to get to compete again at 14.1 and I am thankful to God for allowing it to be my turn on that particular day with a room full of Champions.

I hope to see more Straight Pool events in the near future as there are in Europe, I would like to extend a special thank you to anyone who assists in keeping this great sport (14.1) of ours alive.

Congratulations Danny. You are a gracious champion. I hope that 14.1 can continues to grow in the US and worldwide.

14.1 at Big Daddy's Billiards

As long as we have anything to do with it Straight pool... it will always live in Maryland!!!

Thanks again to everyone that played and watched.

In my opinion....Straight pool is the ONLY game!!

Thanks, Richard & Cynthia Molineiro / owners of BIG DADDY'S BILLIARDS. High run "139" and looking for higher!!
