I know Boradriver doesn't mind slinging down some big bucks to take a shot at even bigger bucks. Oh God, I can only hope...........

this is funny I just came across this looking for any thread.

Trust me if that was me to win that kind of cash pool would be great.

Joey and T have seen me in action buying drinks at DCC when I had a little cash. If I ever get big money pool will be off and running.

Isn't that a fun mental diversion? I usually get a couple of hours of this after I buy my lottery tickets, until the world comes crashing back in. :p
 
There was this rather lardy scottish couple who won a similar amount last year. On asked what they were going to do with the money, they replied "buy more lottery tickets". Honestly, you could not make it up.

I have had plans to do a tour, and make it a real opportunity to survive all the pool world crap, if I ever hit big. Team uniforms, new bats and gloves,,, oh wait, what thread is this.... Oh ok, I know now...

Yes, I was there but not for nearly as long as I was hoping to be. Did you go?

We really need to wear az nametags or have a set meet & greet at these events.

Didn't they used to have an az get together at Pool Table Magic? I never attended but heard they did. We may have to try for SBE, again.

I sure do like the mental image of winning the lottery and doing the pool, mother of all roadtrips. This might be worthy of being its own thread.

In fact, I think I will :)
