Contest - Challenge - Cue Makers

The HH tips are over the top. People love them who want hard.

I had a bunch in stock and just did a few and all these 3c Billiards players are wanting them.

Keep up the good work my friend. People are noticing how good all your tip are performing.

I'm not wanting to change the rules of your contest, so take this with a lot of salt.
I would suggest evening out the judging criteria somehow. We all have different cue building abilities is a given. But we all have different photography abilities as well. And in this case, the judging is dependent, at least partially, on both.

Why not send the completed cues to Tom...
He can judge in person and put the cues on eBay :)

forget ebay like I want to give them money. If I'm doing this for charity they don't need to have their hand in my jar. I would like to at least pick my charity.

Just a suggestion
It would be nice to get all the finished cues in one location so they could be compared side by side.

Sorry guys, went to play Pool, starting to play scary, LOL.

Quite a few have points but this is the Holidays so lets be friendly as can be.

I understand pictures will not tell the full story. They are however what we drool over in the forum.

This was started as a, Cue Maker owns rights to the Cue, charity was brought up later. I can understand even the best of the best hesitent on giving to charity as many times only 10% is what ends up in the charities hands.

My solution, I will personaly give a donation to charity under the name AZB Pool Forum.

Lets see what July 1st brings for pics :)

What if they were to be judged at a cue show that takes place around july or later? I don't know all the shows, I know SBE would be too early. This would allow people to see them up close and not be relying on pictures. It could also be used as a meet/greet with the builders maybe. Just an idea.

Dumb question or statement . The winning cue maker is also going to depend on quality of the photographs taken. In less all the cues are photographed by the same photographer the contest will be cue making and cue photography ?
And not sure if there is a reasonable answer....

Glad to see you got in on this Doug! Everyone should get to see some the work you been doing.

This man makes a great looking and on top of that, a great hitting cue. Good luck to everyone!

If you wanted to open up the contest a little you could allow a few more to purchase the blanks themselves and enter a cue also.
