cool pool room names

Is this one Taken?

I am considering starting up a pool hall and was thinking of the name
"Tight Pocket Billiards"

I am thinking it's probably taken. :(

About 20 years ago I used to always play at a place called "Rack n Roll" in Houston (west side of town). Even worked there for a few months.

The place I play is called "Bank Shot" - it is an old bank building that still has a deposit slot in front, and a HUGE vault and vault door inside. They turned the vault into a lounge type of area for people to sit in. The vault door has plexiglass covering all the inner workings so you can see all the gears that make it work. Pretty neat.

Edit: The vault door looks exactly like this one:

OB: "brews 'n cues" - I play league and money shoots at a Sedro-Woolley WA bar named "Cues and Brews", home of the "tits and beer, that's why I'm here" T-shirt.

Other nominee: Golden Fleece Billiards, Kenmore WA. With the likes of Platis, JD, Chuckie, Geiler, and Mr. Louie as habitues, fleecing is a distinct possibility for the unwary.

i vote for hard times because whenever people complain in there about bad rolls or anything, you just say, well, i guess that's why they call it hard times.

Mike's

I was a partner then owner of a room up north called Cue & Billiard Lounge...I never did like the name...I couldn't wait to become sole owner so I could rename it "Mike's Pool Hall"...I thought it might scare off some people...then I thought that I would settle for "Mike's Place"...and I'm always looking to make things simpler...so I seriously thought of "Mike's"...

In the end the cost to make any change at all made me think twice...and by then I knew I would be selling out soon enough...so no changes...

Dave named his Golden Fleece room for Jason and the Argonauts.

The conversation about Cuetopia, I played there before. Julie Hunter had a room called Cuephoria.

My first poolroom in Bakersfield was The Cue Ball Recreation. I later changed the name to read Jay's Cue Ball. My last poolroom was Jay's Billiards & Sports Bar.

I'd like to name a place The Pool Hall, or Cool Pool!

Ferrule Kats
Rustler's Roost
Of course all you guys will be invited! :D

when i started playing, rooms usually had the name of the owner ,mcgurs, nyc ,dukes in hoboken nj ,fregaras in jc,nj...followed by either billiards,or pool room ... it was in the 70`s (about the time i quit playing for the nxt. 30 yrs.) that names changed ,along with colors of the cloth....RED, Gold, etc:.....since starting to play again ,i have played in " corner pockets, side pockets, both in largo fl. but now live in wil.nc, and play in a great room called breaktime....20 + tables (8 diamonds)..bowling alleys, rest. bars ...great place and great owners....special prices for older players ...affords guys like me ,retired on fixed budget a chance to play everyday if wanted ....thanks breaktime...

Now closed after many years, but I thought 'The Fad' in Corbin Kentucky was a unique name. What about Park-N-Back Billiards.

One room 150 miles away from me is called Bad Beavers.
I named our team. Takin A Break.
And this year my girl and I are playing Scotch doubles.
We did in fact call ourselves Fa Cues.
Saw it on a Tee shirt for sale on the net so we kinda ripped off the name.
Now I suppose I'm going to have to pay royalties.
But we will buy a couple of Tees from the website.
