The problem with your arguement is that Harley Davidson or Volkswagen do not literally mean anything you describe....

I am so sorry that you view this as a "problem," Nfty9er. I only expressed my viewpoint about the clothing line. The argument, with holes or without, if there is any, is totally on your end, my friend.

Huslin

You are far too critical here. If I call a guy a Harley dude it reflects good or bad depending on your opinion an association with something the guy loves. When I see someone with the Huslin' logo, I dont see a hustler I see someone who loves the sport and all the associations with it. A doctor who drives a harley doesnt have to be a bad ass criminal,(stereotype) but knows some may have this opinion and doesnt care.

Will he play anyone banks? I was telling someone at the pool hall yesterday about this thread and he told me to let you know his friend will play Corey for $10,000 or $20,000 a set.

First of all a Harley logo on a shirt is not a negative meaning. Only in the eye of the beholder. There is no dictionary that states Harley means, deceiving, sharking, cheating, stealing or hustling for money. Hustlin is a negative word and is what has always been a problem with our sports image. I just would rather support someting more postive. Yes, if you know all the people involved with the sport wearing that apparel, you know it is all in fun but what about my neighbors, they will just think of what it means. Would I want my waitresses to wear a shirt with that logo? No, it woulld cause too many problems and probably initiate an undercover investigation. lol. I asked my 4 of age daughters if they would wear that shirt and walk the streets of Las Vegas and it was a unanimous, NO. So what I am saying if you want the image of pool to improve supporting Hustlin is not going to do it with the general public. Its cute and great for the pool playing public. So supporting a negative connotation on the one hand then railing about trying to improve the image of pool on the other just does not mix or make sense. If you think that opinion is too critical then so be it.

Any updates? I gave Fiddlestix a call and they let me know Corey was there this week, but couldn't confirm the exact date any other pros would be there, if it all.

I posted three times and sent a pm that someone will play him banks, but for some reason I haven't heard anything.

Just want to say,

I love Cory (as a fan of the player :D , don't know him personally, or swing that way myself :p ).

But I love to watch him play, have a few of his Accu-Stats matches, he's one of "The Mans".

Pete

Are you suggesting or saying that Cory is a flamer?

Hey Joe, I was out of town on the weekend. I would like to call you on this game but Corey does not gamble at banks, at least not on my money. He asked me to put him in the bank ring game at DCC and I had to decline. I have some guys that might put Dee in the box but I dought you'll get anything more than a 1,000 or 2,000 a set. amc4

Thanks, I will ask him if he wants to play Dee and if so should I contact you about setting up a game?

I think they have played before or were going to at one time. I don't know if they did though.

Sounds good Joe, If the guy wants to play I'll talk to Dee and maybe we can work out a game. When you do talk to him let him know we aren't going to play for more than a 1,000 or 2,000 on my money. If I can get some of the other guys down here in to the game we might get it up to the 10,000 to 20,000 range but I can't speak for the other guys right now. amc4

Well, If Corey is ever out in Oklahoma and is looking for action, their is plenty of here. All he has to do is show up. Plenty of action in Oklahoma City. We'll see if he can give James Walden the call 8 on a bar box ;).

I'm pretty sure he just spent a couple of weeks in Tulsa during March. Don't know what action he found.

BigNasty,

If Corey and Shane end up playing in Sioux Falls let me know. I wouldnt mind coming down and watching and possibly hitting the links with them. See what kind of spot they will give me on the golf course. :) :D :)

P.S. Love the Bio-Hazard bike.

And the bike can be yours, just buy it?

Sounds good.

I may be in Sioux Falls this coming week for a couple days if anyone down there would like to play. Gotta get ready for Vegas.

I would of liked to buy your bike, but settled for a new Heritage so the ol'lady would be happy too.

If anyone's looking for golf action my cousin and his 19 year old buddy will play any two golfers you can find for a nice chunk of change. amc4
