The challenge match last night was all Bustamante. Corey had several chances to dominate, but he couldn't get going. While that circumstance can happen in any match, it seems to me that Corey's play has been a little phlegmatic over the past several months. Some have attributed it to all the time he spends on the golf course. But I'm wondering if the loss he took to SVB in that challenge match awhile back took the wind out of his sails? Perhaps he doesn't have the same burning desire to be the top U.S. dog these days.

Corey didn't play poorly. He made a couple of mistakes. The difference was the break and Bustamante's break was better and he consistently made balls on the break and he was able to string racks together.
I don't consider that playing poorly. Maybe he didn't break as well as Bustamante but that's as far as I can go.
Maybe Bustamante made some better outs than Corey and maybe Bustamante is just a better player.
Not to hijack the thread, but for other important things:
Are you going to be paying your tribute to Tommy Kennedy this weekend?
Why haven't we seen any flyers? Or, are you trying to keep this win for yourself?
Maybe the Gingerbread Man

and John Mars will fly in for the tournament. That would be too cool. Fatboy could fly in too and maybe we could get the other guy that Jay woofed at to come over and play too. It could be fun.
It would be nice to finally get Jay to a tournament where he doesn't have to be obligated to commentating. Maybe then, he could find time to play. Yeah, that's it. Jay, what about it? You busy this weekend?
Come on down to Gulfport, MS for the Tommy Kennedy tournament and I can guarantee that no one will bother you with work.
Gulfport also have nice Casinos with
LOTS OF POKER GAMES. Rheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. That's the sound of my reels drag spinning out of control.
