6:00....you mean you slept in today.

I woke up and thought I'd could see daylight out the window, so I got up. Fooled around a bit, and looked at the clock...4 AM. No wonder I'm sill tired.

Maybe just a small nap before the MOSCONI CUP

You took a personal shot at Earl and he wasn't around to defend himself, thats why you got personally attacked. When you did it to Earl was that ok?
Earl's actions are public... he does them at tournaments in front of thousands and broadcasted to millions. There was nothing "personal" about it.

I cant really say it is OK but he opens himself to those type of comments just like he opens himself to the heckling of the Europeans. Just like Mike Tyson and just like John McEnroe like Jim stated.

Can you honestly say you never said anything negative about any public figure?

Thank you for the apology in the other post, but it was not needed. This is my last post in this topic. I don't want any enemies from here.

What's on the Mosconi menu for today? Anybody know?

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot...

USA, ALL THE WAY!

Jam, I have no idea whats on the menu today but I can't wait. Obviously Jeremy will probably have to play a doubles match as he is the only one that has not yet. Then all the other guys have not played their singles match yet. I can't remember how it all works but there are 3 days of action still to go and it looks like they are having 4 matches per day. They must go around again with the doubles and singles.
I don't care to be honest, I am having a great time. I have a kegorator at my house and so I will be getting myself all set by the computer at around 11.00am with a beer, some hot wings and of course my air horn. YEAH BABY. USA USA USA USA USA

I don't think Earl the Girl has bitten anyone's ear off yet. However, his non-stop whining may give ear ache.

You moved to America from the UK and make childish name calling posts against Earl...

I take it you read the book "How to Lose Friends and Influence Enemies in 37 Posts or Less"?

That's it! I'm taking you off my Christmas list!

I just think that if you move to America you should be required to root for the Americans in the Mosconi Cup!

;)
I agree. I am from England and the USA has been very good to me and that is why I am here. I root for the USA all the way.
God Bless America, as tough as times are right now with the economy etc this is still the greatest country on earth. JMO

When people from other countries think of American pool, the first person that pops into their mind should not be Earl.

Yes it damn well should be! That man strokes the balls as good as if not better than anyone on the planet ever has - he plays the game beautifully and has a strong passion for the game as well. The way Earl plays nine ball is the very definition of the way the game was intended to be played.

And you know I really don't get why people get in such a fit over Earl. So what if he throws a hissy fit? Ironically being as bothered by it as some are is exactly the same kind of over-reaction that they are angry at Earl about!

And why do people get their knickers in such a twist over 'good sportsmanship' and traditionally polite ettiquette anyway?

I'd rather watch Earl walk back to his chair and curse blindly cus he missed a shot than see somebody being a 'consummate professional' who thinks it makes him a better person because he's not showing his feelings.

The man not only has a burning desire to win and to compete, but also a deep love for the game of pool.

Those are two qualities I admire greatly.

By the way I'm supporting USA - at the end of the day I'm a pool fan number one and English second! And there's just one English player on team Europe - I've got more in common in many ways with an American than a German, Finn, Dutch or Maltese person! So i'm not supporting Europe for the sake of geographical/where you come from reasons!

USA on the other hand has some of my all time favourite pool players in Earl, Shane and Johnny, so for me it's USA all the way!
