Coupon Code for Accu-Stats?

Im not into the video of the month club and have never used one of the codes, but I can tell you that there is always alot of stuff on sale right on the website and once you make a order you get the 50% off flyer in the mail once or twice a year. I pick up 5 at a time when that comes in the mail. As a matter of fact I just got somthng with a bunch of dvds that are all 9.99. After readding this Im going to send Pat some cash just to make myself feel better..

1. The billiard industry is going downhill in a big way. Not as many people are playing seriously any more these days.
2. Accu-Stats is suffering the same problems as the rest of the industry, but even MORE so, since they cannot make up the difference on the lower amateur side.
3. Many of us buy the ENTIRE U.S. Open, Derby City Classic, and Turning Stone tournament DVDs every year, and wait anxiously to pay $20 each, which is what the multiple purchase discount is.
4. And finally, you should be supporting a company that is likely working three large tournaments a year at minimum, PLUS editing and production, for a VERY slim hourly wage when youj do the math.
The "coupon code" is there because it has always been there, and Accu-Stats occasionally mails out flyers with discount codes to move product 6+ years old. If you appreciate their matches, then APPRECIATE the fact they knock 5+ dollars a DVD off if you buy a certain amount.
Appreciate that they are still even in business, dude, because there is a VERY limited used supply on the market. People who buy these matches often buy the whole tournament, and keep their tapes/DVDs for years.
I can understand being frugal, but you are starting to border on cheap. If you cannot pay $20 for a championship match when a regular new movie DVD costs more, then just forget it.

I agree and I don't. The coupon code can be shared IMO, and sharing helps to ensure Pat sells all remaining units, which he has (by putting them on 'sale') already accepted as well, acceptable.Russ Chewning said:

It is sort of a thank you for buying something and gives you a discount on additional purchases.
Is it really alright to share this code with someone who has not made a purchase? I think it is questionalbe, at the very least. JMHO.

I still do think that it is fine to share- as I said, Pat has already justified the sale of the items offered at the price listed and unloading inventory asap is always best.

I found a few used DVD's of matches I wanted to see. Paid less than $18 shipped for each one.
I will not ever pay $29.00 for a DVD, for those who can't understand that or don't agree with it, I guess you will just have to deal with it. My family's needs and bills are more important than a pool DVD.
Would love to have bought directly from Accu-Stat as I am sure that selling a few DVD's for $20 a peice shipped wouldn't have hurt them. Maybe someday I will find a way to do business with them

Just as an example, you can get the entire 2008 U.S. Open for an average of $17.00 a DVD, plus $10.00 shipping for the whole set. (15 DVDs)
So tell me again why you can't support Accu-Stats directly by paying $18.00 a DVD. SHIPPED.

Never said you were wrong about the US Open set. I don't play nine ball, so why would I buy a DVD set that I dont want.
