cracked black on ebay(not mine)

Cracked Black on Ebay

Believe it or not I know a cuemaker that can fix it and you can't tell unless you magnify the crack to see it.

I bid up to 50.00 on it...I will wait to see where it goes from there....

I have some sheetrock screws that will fix that cue right up!

At least they gave a good description of the dmaage and have some decent pictures. Still thats a shame for that cue.

At a minimum, some local cuemaker can cut off the buttsleeve and use it in a cue. Worth at least the going bid.

2nd go around

I can't remember how high it went last time, but it was fun to watch.

Did you see the quote on the add? Is this for real?
"Due to Ebay's new policy, Money Orders are no longer accepted. Payments must be made with Paypal." :boring2:

Went for around 550. Only thing I can figure is that is isnt a crack as much as it probably was broke in half. I couldnt believe it went that high he first time. But for 2 shafts, that is what I would bid on.(If I was bidding at all) The rest is garbage to me. No telling what else is wrong with the cue. What has been done to it, who and what work has been done to it. To much unknown history on this one.

Here are some of eBays new policies.

For Books, Music, DVDs & Movies and Video Games listings: Remove any references from your item descriptions to shipping charges that exceed the maximums. Listings in violation are now being taken down.
Make sure your shipping charges reflect the new carrier rates: by January 5 for UPS and by January 18 for USPS.
Remove any references to checks and money orders from your listing descriptions. Starting January 15 these listings will be taken down.
If you are shipping globally, add customs "disclaimer" text to your description to help protect your Feedback.
A return policy and handling time must be specified in your listings by mid-March.

I didn't know this. I've had some bad things happen to me with Paypal and it's my last resort for payment. Their fees are just too high IMO!

This sounds like ebay is digging a hole for themselves with all these new policies. The new policy outlawing ivory will hurt the custom cue sales.

I may bid up to 200-300 at the last minute, but it will probably be going for more than that...so I probably wouldnt be getting it anyways...it will be fun to watch this one...

I agree..I have sold a few gasoline welders and some Bowtech Bows on Ebay....its just getting to be too much of a hassle to me...I have been selling through craigslist in the past cpl months...have sold quite a bit on there and no crap you have to deal with....
