Do you feel you can judge the offset so well that you can pretty much pivot and shoot (not looking to the OB), or do you sometimes make a slight bridge shift during the pivot to CB center?

I never adjust my bridge. The offset is something that I can see. I think JB said it best. If you miss you rattle the pocket. It sounds like he uses a similar method. I used my cue as an imaginary rail so the offset that was needed was more clear while learning the system. It's almost automatic. You have to invest the time on the drill. Even if you don't use a pivot based system the drill is a great way to improve your shot making skills.
