I know I come up with some strange things ,however it seems I remember there was a cue maker who also was into gun smith work or vice versa .If anyone knows who I am talking about I need to talk to that guy . Thanks folks .I am not a slow learner but tend to be a quick forgeter:embarrassed2:

I think it was me that you remember talking with Matt. Send me a pm about what you need.

4 power?

I've been looking to have a 4 power scope mounted on my cue too.

I suppose that would suffice on a bar box, but if you sometimes play on a big table I would step up to a 3 to 9 variable. Neither will fit in a standard case. One of the guys at the senior center had a 22 scope on his cue!?!? Some people are so stupid! I have the special mounting rings with base for 1 inch tubes. Just one left but I'll save it for you if you want it. $99.95 Pm me if you want it.

Bob Thompson from West Virginia is both. He also is a decently famous guitar maker. He built his own match grade .22 for nationals and finished one shot off the record. We are talking built his own barrel, receiver and a gorgeous custom stock with inlays.

Mike Bender makes a good cue and he can shoot a grizzly on a flat out run. I hear his son is a marksman. Most shooters know a little about gunsmithing.

thanks for the info

Just looking into something to get into .Have always enjoyed guns and know the writting is on the wall with the current business I am in . My current possition is very favorable for me to go back to school or do some OJT .I really like the story about the guy that makes his own guns and cues .That's one hell of a self made man I would say .I like it .
