Cue Question - Willie Elder brand?

Hi all,

Just got a text from a buddy at pool hall. He just picked up a cue with a clear plastic window in the butt that has Willie Elder's Finest in foil under the plastic ring. Don't have any pictures yet and was wondering if anyone here has an idea what he has based on the label in the but? Did a quick web search sand did not come up with anything. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
 
Willie Elder was a Palmer dealer for many years in the Houston area. He promoted tournaments and took many exhibition players on tours around the state, Mosconi included among others......

That's correct - he sold hundreds of Palmers - various models - that said "Willie Elder's Finest".
 
Many thanks all for the replies. I just got some photo's on the phone. The cue is a Palmer #5 out of their 3rd catalog with the Willie Elder label in the but.

great info guys, as I just found one of these Willie Elders Finest,
in the closet. Anyone have an idea where I might find one of those black plastic rings in the butt?
