What glue do you use for Irish Linen Wrap?

-Elmer's Glue-All
-Titebond Original
-Titebond III
-Other type of Glue?

Do you use Full strength or dilute with few drops of water?

Drill hole or tuck Wrap?

I imagine you are referring to a linen wrap. Elmer's glue all. I use it straight out of the bottle but I've put on well over a thousand wraps and get them on pretty quickly. I pegged both ends for around 35 or 40 years but here lately I've been tucking.

I just started to do wraps. I do not know how to tuck I have only been taught how to peg. and I use elmer's

I use Elmers and tuck. I started with pegging and switched to tucking because I hate putting more holes in someones cue.

Thanks for the info.

Elmer's with a few drops of water.
(do not want it to start to dry before I get to the end of Wrap)

-Try W-40 on the loop you use for the Tuck!!!!

-Tuck method (If done right) Does Not show the Tuck!

Avoid WD-40 in the shop at all cost.
It it gets on wood , finishing might be a huge problem.
Just use wax.
 
I use Elmer's......and the drill method....


However I have heard of people using a glue stick too....never tried it but seems interesting

I was wondering about that. I know you guys don't want any silicone around but WD has no silicone in it. I was still suspicious about the stuff around cues though.

I pegged but since I watched Darcy's video, I started tucking.

Elmer's with a spritz of water but Darcy also uses a Glue Stick. The last handle I did, I used a Stick and it seemed to work ok.

I will probably continue to use a stick until I find out differently.

I use Tite Bond for other things but don't see why you couldn't use it watered down, altho it would be a bit of over kill.

If you watch Darcy's video, he uses wax to coat his tuck line.
