Cue Components & Sniper Tips

Anyone have any dealings with
www.cuecomponents.com ?
I was looking for some new tips for my recently acquired cue and they have the Sniper tips for only $8.45 each. The cheapest I could fine anywhere, including Ebay, was $12.25. They have a minnimum order of $50. That is the first time I have ever seen a minnimum just to order. Any input would be great. Thanks
Greetings Friends.....
We try to please everyone but there has to be reasonable limits in place as we are a business. As was previously posted, it probably does cost us the same to process a $50 order as it does to process a $1000 order. We're talking about a tip here that we sell for $8 or so. How much profit can there be in this item? We have to pay electric, rent, telephone, employees and other things. We probably actually lose money processing smaller orders.
Here's the main reason orders under $50 don't work. We charge a standard $2 shipping for tips by USPS (the post office). If you purchase $50 in $8 tips, you're buying approximately 6 tips. Now, the $2 postage cost divided by 6 tips is only 30 cents or so per tip which is quite reasonable. It's even less when you spend more. If you purchased $100 worth of tips, then the shipping cost is only about 15 cents per tip. Now, let's look at the other side of the coin. A customer orders an $8 tip and we charge them $2 for shipping. All of a sudden we're over-charging for shipping. We have to pay for envelopes, stuffers and for an employee to fill the order. The $2 is quite reasonable when you purchase $50.
Additionally, we have to pay for credit card processing as well and it just doesn't work on $10 orders. We actually lose money.
However, I'm a reasonable chap so if any of you guys or gals out there would like to purchase one or two Sniper tips, place the order and put "as per RSB Post" in the comments section. We'll gladly fill your order but remember we're going to charge you $2 for shipping. We'll waive the $50 minimum order and make this offer good until February 4, 2006. That will give all of you a week to order. This is not a profit maker for us so please refrain from emailing us. The deal is quite simple to complete online. I hope that's reasonable.
BTW.... I like these tips better than a Moori and have been putting them on my cues for about a year now. They play great!
