I did not look at the poster very well and assumed it was one of the cues Eddie was working on.
Thanks for the information.
I have tried sealing a cue with epoxy once or twice but the epoxy was always a bit soft and difficult to sand.

WheatCues said:Yeah it is... it's forcing me to work alot harder but I'm trying to establish myself by getting the cues out quicker so my customer's can advertise for me ! "it's a rational exchange !"
I'm sure Charlie can't wait to get his so he can spread the word.
Unfortunately I have had some unexpected setbacks that have caused delays and I'm begionning to realize why some cuemakers have longer turnaround times...
According to your words exactly, they spend too much time fishing and playing golf. So is this what your up too now? or are you stiil trying to figure out which glue to use where?
my problem is that I NEVER allow room for error.. I simply don't take it in account and when it does happen it like a domino effect...
You better start allowing more.........seems like that is all you've done lately is screw things up.
So I'm learning as I go...
18 years in the biz and he's still learning. Just what have you learned lately? How to spread more lies and double talk so your potential customers will be so confused and the ones that are feeling sorry for you will help bail your ass out.
Like I said before.. this whole mainstream exposure is really new to me and I was totally unprepared for the overwhelming response I recieved.. I simply wasn't expecting it to grow so fast !
Expecting it to grow? or you just weren't prepared to build the 3 cues you have orders for and can't seem to complete?
Anyways, back to the shop... I am sooooo behind right now !
If you'd stay there you might get something done and we wouldn't have to listen to your lies and double talk BS that you so much admire yourself for.
Take care Joey !
I'm so glad to see you and Joey kissed and made up....I was really worried that you might loose the only helping friend you have here.

He learnt how to peel the clearcoat off a cue, at least that's the new excuse for Charlie not getting his cue on time. If Charlie had a dollar for every excuse Eddie has offered, he'd have his $700 back by nowBarenbruggeCues said:.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.

No offense meant, but evidently, neither do you. This appears to be the 2nd recoat of a cue, that was completed Before Charlie even ordered it. If you can't handle a cue in your shop without scratching or damaging it repeatedly. then I'm ahead of you in that learning curve. You're the self-professed 18yr expert!!! In earlier posts in another thread, it was stated that the cue was already finished 7 months ago, then you developed a scratch and redid the finish, then you were waiting on shaftwood to cure, Is the 4" strip 'accident' a new development or the reason for the first recoat? I don't use clearcoat urethane, due to the danger it poses to the neighbors, etc, but would think that it would be dry by now from the first recoat. Just do right by Charlie, and honor your commitments to your customers you have now, ahead of 'the curve' and maybe you'll get more.WheatCues said:What a clown !!!!
If you knew anything about building cues you would understand how easily that can happen to fresh urethane when you uses the wrong painters tape !

Over 18 years of professional cuebuilding and this is all you can come up with? WRONG PAINTERS TAPE?........oh excuse me...! instead of ?
If YOU knew anything about building cues, you would have not let anything like this happen......wrong tape? These are the type of moronic things you tell people you do that continue to dig a wider and deeper hole for youself.
