Cuemaker wont ship my cue

guys, it would be good to keep in mind who the bad guys are and who isn't.

ideologist (Patrick) has been here for a few years and has consistently been a good guy. You may not like that he's been trying to fix problems created by Steve Klapp, but make no mistake, he's just trying to be helpful to both sides.

Unfortunately, Mr Klapp has made it increasingly difficult (impossible?) for Patrick to keep bailing him out.

I look at Patrick as a sort of patron saint of lost causes in this relationship.

Consider what I've written here and that he really shouldn't be the target of anyone's aggression, especially given that he has fixed more than a few of these sideways deals.

best,
brian kc

See.and many of us see him as an enabler who has helped this Klapp guy out, as a result of which he has been able to stay in business longer and screw over more people.

That may not have been his intent, but that is the result. Good intentions became paving stones

there's a boatload of speculation there but your point is taken. ;)

Enabler???
You either don't know the meaning of the word or are overstating it.

The man is taking care of everybody concerned who he was involved with. Using his time and money to do so...only because it's the right thing to do. You guys want to drag him through the mud for your own sadistic pleasure. It's uncalled for.

Last time a cuemaker went sideways did anybody else step in like he has?
He communicated with all the person's involved, hounded Klapp until he came out of hiding, obtained all of the merchandise that was owed, spoke to all the concerned parties and is completing the projects as they have instructed him..WTF else do you guys want?

Why is he doing all that? Just curious not accusing anyone of anything.. I have not followed or read the whole thread so maybe I missed it.......

I recommended OP to send his house cue blank in for really basic install work. That was obviously a disaster. I have to make a bad referral right.

The other guys I'm trying to help are just decent people caught up in the same bad business, because I can. Wouldn't you help someone out if it were in your power?

Patrick has been very helpful. I am not sure why people are giving hiim a tough time. His efforts, no matter what everyone thinks, either good or bad, Is way better than what steve was doing for me. As for Steve, theres not much to say. I seen someone mention that no matter what a cue was selling for, if the cue maker was an A #1 dousche bag, they wouldnt own his cue. Im fairly new here on AZ and love looking at cues for sale and in the gallery section. At this point, I wont open a thread that has Steves Klapps name on it. I simply dont like the guy. If your words no good, your no good

Kingpin, you seem like a solid guy...Patrick will take care of you. That's gospel.

These other guys are misinformed about the situation concerning Patrick. He's 100 percent taking care of everybody concerned. It's all good to pile on Klapp....but he's done anyway so it's like kicking a dead horse cause he ain't feeling nothing.

I asked a simple question. Don't turn it around and insinuate I would or would not do anything.

I think it is pretty cool of " ideologist" to take this on. I am sure it is going to cost him money out of his own pocket in the end. Very noble gesture. If it was my cue I would wish someone would be so kind. I ordered a cue about 20 years ago, and had nothing but problems. Heard every excuse in the book, other than my dog ate it. So I know exactly how the original poster feels.

Entry level nuthugger..
Nuthugging with no standards..
hahaha

You could have a sub category in the WFS section called Bad Business and the threads would be like watching cars in Tennessee during a snow...

Patrick was the one who took his personal time after seeing a comment on a thread about the parts I paid Steve to machine months earlier. Patrick messaged me his own cell # and assured me that it would be handled. SK refunded my PP 15 minutes later followed by a phone call from Steve to apologize.

I called Patrick back to thank him for stepping in. Stand up member as far as I am concerned.

Best rolls,
-Kat

Had a hunch but wanted to think different. One of the members here stepped in and had Steve settle a small machined parts job he owed me last Summer and refund my PP but still owed me a part he promised and was to get it right out.

Steve and I spoke about a month later after no part. He returned my call, texts and emails and he said he was getting his 'ducks in a row' and wanted to get back to making cues and doing what he promised and 'promised' me it was shipping the next day.

About a month goes by. Nothing. I text him are you allright ? Whats up ? Etc. Appears Steve has hit the bottom. Never heard a word. Unfortunate for the members and customers that took a hit.

I sent him a friends old Adam about a year ago for a buttcap and some other minor work right when he was moving little over a year ago. I was nervous but got the cue back repaired without too much effort. I feel Blessed.

I would never send him a dime again. I hope he is not ill, but that seems to be the excuses builders start giving when they are a running.

Good luck on your cue and to any others who are owed.

You should take responsibility! You have been riding Steve Klapp like a cowgirl and maybe some of your other posts with YOUR LIES (or maybe you just believed Steve at that time) claiming he made a deal right were the cause of people getting involved with Steve. You sent me a pm when he screwed the diesel over saying Klapp is offering a plain jane cue to make the deal right, which he declined because he was owed the 8 pointer. Then you get on another thread claiming Steve has made the deal right years ago. You later deny even sending the pm offer from Klapp! Now you have had the police involved and you want to act like you are such an honest guy helping people out, LMAO. You are a f*&$ing joke too pal, I know this and you know this!!

He's a clown Trav...

Anybody that's been around here knows your reputation is solid, and I can speak from experience.. I bought a new Swift envelope case from you almost 10 years ago..The transaction was flawless..

I also know that Jeff (the diesel) is a stand up guy, and wouldn't lie.. I bought a very nice 6 or 8 point Ned Morris wrapless from him ( I believe it belonged to you at one time), and again the deal was flawless..

Steve Klapp that's another story ..
