Guy, I hate to say it, but it seems that you are just plain stupid.

1. You lack the basic understanding of what slander is.

2. You started with the names in your first post discussing Shorty.

3. You said Shorty had committed slander. Slander is spoken communication, that never happened here, if anything it would be libel.

4. You said a lawyer said it was slander. Lawyers may be jackasses at times but they aren't stupid. A lawyer isn't going to tell you that something on an internet message board was slander when it was impossible for it to be so.

5. Unless a lawyer saw all of the facts surrounding an issue they certainly wouldn't render a judgment on it (at least a decent lawyer won't). And you want us to believe you discussed this particular issue with a lawyer? I don't believe that for a second based on the ignorance you continue to post.

6. For example, you posted some BS about Oprah as if this helped your point when you don't even know the facts of that case either.

It is clear that you tried to sound smart by spouting a bunch of BS because you happen to have talked to a lawyer/relative. As if that lends you some sort of credibility? Sorry guy, that isn't how it works. I hope you don't have any astronaut relatives, I would hate to hear your take on rocket science.

I guess you missed the red text from the link above with the wording from the Supreme Court, you know, the supreme law of the land. Call me crazy, but I think that carries a little more weight than a law firm website.

just curious as to why the uni loc has become not so hot, i have a Lucasi with the uni loc and just got a 314 shaft for it i like it very much hits great,i used the standard lucasi shaft for my break shaft and and change of shafts is very fast i think it great. what is hot now.and why.i just play for fun and have fun playing

I wouldn't put Predator cues or Lucasi in this category, because they are mass-produced. The uni-loc it seems, is not popular right now with custom cuemakers. Aside from Paul Drexler, I haven't seen too many custom cuemakers using this pin.

that has a Southwest, and is tickled with it, but I did not really
care for it because I did not like the balance, and I wasn't hot
on the inlays either, although it is a $2,000 cue. But Southwest
has a long waiting time for their cues. .

I don't believe your friend has a SW with inlays for $2,000. Maybe it's a different cuemaker or a fake.

Blud has every right to disagree, but he did more and attacked Shorty for giving his opinion. I think Blud needs to take a higher road, not that he can't post what he did, he just shouldn't have, anyone who thinks it would have had an impact on his business is just not well informed.

Just out of curiosity, which part of the post do you feel is not true?

IMHO Skip Weston's stock will definitely skyrocket when the 3rd edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues is published. I think that when people can see the construction of his cues, finish and design work, that he will be inundated with work. His points are really the best in the business and the playability of his cues are second to none. Don't think that stainless steel joints are "out of vogue" but as someone in this thread said they are harder to do well. Skip does flawless stainless steel joints as well as flatfaced or piloted joints. If you like "old school" players type cues he is definitely the guy to see.

While playability is very subective, I would put my new Skip Weston up against any other cuemakers work for execution, design and playability! He may not be doing wild designs like Thomas Wayne, Ginacue or McWorter, but what he does he does extremely well. I'm very interested in your opinions of where you feel Skip falls short. Thanks in advance for your insight!

I don't mind your cues I have had 6 of them and a jump cue and all 6 the feurells came unglued no big deal. YA make a lot of cues and some people seem to love your cues. I think there average cue just my opinion.I am with shortie when he said ,there on the cold list to . It seems the resale of your cues on ebay seem to be a dead market.I have seen two realy nice cues ya made on ebay that have not even gotten one bid and the retail was $1,800 and the guy only wanted $750 with a load of ivory in it. So I would have to say your cues seem to not have good resale value and ya jack the prices up and only use one joint pin that makes it a pain to get a new shaft for but thats more money in your pocket I guess. I wish ya all luck with your cues and you are a smart maker but your resale does suck maybe ya just make to many cues or maybe you might just become the next DALE PERRY. JUSt MY 2 CENTS.
