Come on guys...the man was in not state to discuss anything. He felt bad about the way it finished and probably the way he played. I recall JS was smart enough to high tail it out of the room when he lost the first match.
These two are real close in speed and it shows. The man should have sucked it up but he let his heart leak out of his mouth. They both are champs and I'm sure if Danny is up for it their will be a Trilogy.

When you're playing for 5 figures, it's easy to let shit seep out of your mouth at the end of a loss. I wonder how many people on here would javelin their cue through a window after losing 10k? I once saw Tiger smash his driver so hard into the ground on the tee-box I couldn't believe the shaft didn't splinter into pieces. It's too easy to say "that guy's a pro so he shouldn't say stuff like that." C'mon - they interviewed him JUST after the loss. Of course he wasn't feeling "lovely" !!!!!
Both of these guys are human and there's a lot of pride involved (which hurts as much as losing money). I've taken the time to speak to both of these guys and as far as I'm concerned -- they're each made of gold, with better dispositions than many pro golfers I've seen in the heat of battle.
I'm sure if someone interviewed Danny today, they'd get a totally different interview. When I interview JS at DCC in the TAR box, he had nothing but glowing things to say about Danny winning the first match - I know Danny is the same way.

I agree. What some people don't understand is, what makes a lot of champions is the innate, deep down, white hot NEED TO WIN.
Even the nicest champions have it. I just heard not too long ago about Tommy Kennedy getting pissed at a Florida event. He didn't say or do anything to his opponent, but those that were watching said it was obvious that Tommy was angry at his level of play.
So, let's not be too hard on Danny. Not everyone can be as calm as Archer or Reyes when they lose a big match.
