Oscar and Ernesto Dominguez have confirmed that they will be playing, so it will be a pretty tought field even if only a dozen players or so play. I have a few from Danny K's that will play including myself (probably) and hopefully we'll get at least ten.
Race to 7 opens the competition up somewhat, so why not play?

How about Marshall Jung?
 
I think Marshall still plays, and I hope he's up for this. He may not have the time to go to Vegas if he qualifies, though.

I had a few questions
1. Is it alternate or winner break?
2. Do we have to break from the break box? or anywhere behind the kitchen?
3. Are jump cues allowed?
4. Does the 10 ball count on the break?

Hey Danny, I'll be there. I had come close to winning the nineball qualifier for the dragon promotions event in Vegas a couple of years back now I think( Ramin ended up taking it). I'll come down and play in it. I have to make sure I'll be back from Seattle by then, but I'm pretty sure I will, so I'll definitely be there if there's any way that I can.

Yes, it's on HBO of course, but we'll carry it live and no cover. No undercard though, so get there on time. Should begin about 7:30 PM.

Oscar Dominguez, Eddie Cohen and Ramin Biakhtiari are three confirmed players so far. I might play, but that's looking less likely. It's a wide open field!

We open at 10am for practice and the tournament will begin at 12noon.
